I took the Keys to the Kingdom tour earlier in the year. I'm debating between the Backstage Magic or the Undiscovered Future World tour next month.

-Is the Epcot portion of the Backstage Magic tour basically the same as the Undiscovered FW tour?
- Do you ride any of the attractions on the UFW tour?
-Is the MK part of the BM tour the same as the Keys to the Kingdom tour?

Even with an AP discount, the BM tour seems a little pricey, especially knowing that I've already done the Keys tour.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I've done the Keys tour but not the other 2 you're asking about. While on Keys, the lady at lunch told us she does the Backstage tour (that's 8 hour one, right?). She said that one is great and goes more into depth and you learn a lot more. That's all I know though. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Allears has a great description of the tours. Just thought I might get info from anyone that's been on one lately.

Keep in mind that the backstage tour includes 3 parks. One is MGM, which is the only way to get a nice tour of MGM. Also the backstage tour does NOT require park admission, so is a plus (unless you're an AP holder like us). Backstage tour also includes lunch at Mama Melrose, a good deal. I've also done keys and liked that one too. I've done AK wild by design and Undiscovered future world. the UFW tour was my least favorite. I do think that the backstage tour will include repeats of keys and UFW. We are doing the backstage tour next week.

Backstage Magic is one of only a few tours I havent taken and would also like to hear more about it. Other than MGM, Is there anything in it that isnt shown on any of the idividual tours in each park? MGM used to have a backstage animation tour, too bad its gone.

As far as Undiscovered Future World tour goes, when I booked it I thought it would be average at best, what can you learn there? But it turned out to be one of the best in my opinion I was pleasantly suprised. For those that like to go backstage as opposed to a predominately trivia learning tour, its great. On our tour we got to go into the VIP lounges of spaceship Earth, The living seas and some other pavillions were guests are not normally allowed. We went into the control room of Mission space and backstage at test track. we also went to where they keep and maintain the barges and globe for illuminations. You go back in the the central Epcot cast member building(which seemed like a world of its own) and we had an oportunity to talk with a Japanese intern CM for the world show case. Ours had a suprise ending. Our tour guide, it was revealed at the end, was making his very first tour. And one of the guests in the tour turned out to be his supervisor and was evaluating his performance. Never knew!
