We have been to Disney World 6 times........this is the first time we will be going with my brother, sisiter in law and 2 nephews (6 and 6 months) We will also have our children 16, 13 and 2 (yup you read that right..... 2) I have been reading Tour Guide Mikes site and it looks interesting. DH says we use these boards....we have been for years, we have all the Disney books (he is a Disney fanatic) we have all our PS set etc. He says we are pros ourselves. We are going in July. I thought we should look into Mikes service to help plan for the kids, the crowds etc.....anyone????? Please let me know what you think and what you thought of the service if you used it. I would like to hear it all, the good, the bad , the indifferent.........thanks.

I say go for it. We booked with magical memories and we are suppsoed to get a free subscription to TGM. Just waiting for the info so I can sign in.

Since you are already a self proclaimed expert, don't expect a wealth of new information. But I do recommend it, as his tips are a great way to reexamine your choices, he has great details you may have missed, and his info is very current. Besides, if it isn't a help to you, you can always get a refund. You may also want to do a search for the past flame wars, I mean threads  about TGM. There are some valid points in between personal insults and broad rants against making money off our love for Disney. But as I said, a refund is available. So you really have nothing to lose. :cloud9:

He's got a TON of information to wade through, and the site does offer some variations on what you will find elsewhere (here, for example, or at the UG site.)

Having said that: he has some significant differences that are worth noting: alternate opinions on what are the "best days" to visit each park; different strategies for attacking the parks on different days; interesting pointers on visiting the water parks, etc. He also seems to have a fairly comprehensive explanation of the different ticket plans, and tips on transportation that I haven't seen elsewhere. And, it's all bundled together in a way that's fairly easy to find and follow.

For what it costs -- not much more than the purchase price of a couple of already-out-of-date tour books -- I think it's a decent investment of time and money.

But, of course, your mileage may vary... :earsboy:

I agree. We know quite a bit about Disney but we learned it all here, in books etc. It can't hurt to add more knowledge. I am hoping for some good info about WDW with little ones as we will now have 3 of them with us. We never had this before. Thanks again for the info! I think TGM will be hearing from us very soon!!!.
