Tour and buses in the early morning

We have a tour planned at MK and have to be there before 8am. Can we take a resort bus that early in the morning or do we have to rent a taxi. Not sure what we should do.

You didn't mention where you're staying, but I have taken resort buses from Pop and from POR and gotten to MK for 8am ADRs.

Im sorry. We r staying at POP and do the Marceline to Magic tour.

I was told that buses start running at about 6:30 am. I would be at the bus stop no later than 7am. Hopefully, someone who has been to WDW more times than I will come along and confirm that. But that is the time I went to the stop and I was ok. Had ADRs at MK 2x and at AK and I was ok.

Be at the bus stop at least an hour before you need to be there.

Buses start running at 6:30am so you should be good and be able to get there in plenty of time.

Here is some "research" I did at All-Star Sports to see exactly when the first bus to each Park arrived.

Just keep in mind,this is just a "snapshot" of one particular Resort on two particular mornings.

I am considering doing this tour when we go. There isn't much info out there about the tour. Please post your review after the tour I'm anxious to find out if it something I would like. I'm just not sure if I want to spend 3hrs doing a tour.

I am a TOTAL WDW geek so doing things like this are actually "fun" to me!lol

I found it interesting that,at least for 2 days at All-Star Sports,the often mentioned 6:30 AM start time for buses was only true for Magic Kingdom.

Was it maybe because that was the park with early morning EMH? That was what I thought when I read your very inetersting time table.

No,both days were 9:00 AM openings for MK.

Hmm. Now I'm even more curious. Does MK have more character breakfasts than the other parks? Trying to think. MK has CRT and CP, and the rest of the parks only have one restaurant that does a character breakfast, right? Epcot has Akershus, (did I spell that right? LOL) AK has TH and HS has only one at Hollywood & Vine, I think. Maybe that's why?

Magic Kingdom has a lot of tours that start before opening too. Between the breakfasts and the tours it makes sense for them to have the bigger bus service.

I think also that there might be more MK busses because you can get on Monorail to get to Poly, Contemporary, etc which have early breakfast TS. I've got a 7:40am 'Ohana reservation so I figure I'll leave my resort on a bus to MK and then transfer to monorail to Poly. I hope this is going to work!
