So, I'm going out with a girlfriend to some parties tonight, and I (of course) didn't get anything to wear. I finally decided to be uncreative and wear jeans, a nice top, and Madison's gigantic Tinkerbell wings with a little sign that says I am the "Boring Fairy". Hehehe....

I had thought about wearing a white shirt and pants or a skirt with three black circle on the far right side of the shirt, and go as a piece of paper...but naaaah....

What have you gone to a party dressed as before that was uncreative?

And yes, I will take pics :)

lol that will be cute.

One time dh and I went as beatniks. We did have to purchase a couple of things, but most of it was stuff we had at home. We each wore a black beret, black turtlenecks, jeans, and I carried a long cigarette holder, and dh carried a sax.

One time dh took an old pair of pants, cut them off right above the knees, put rubber bands on the pants legs, so they'd stay up (he discarded the top part), wore some boxers (the kind that buttoned in front!) and pinned a little sign over the front of his boxers that said "surprise!". He wore a trench coat over it all and "flashed" people at the party. Kinda dorky, but it made everyone laugh.

Now see...those are more creative than MY costume will be!! :)

A knife pushed through a box of corn flakes....................A Cereal Killer :thumbsup2

My best friend usually wears normal clothes and says she is a superhero in their alias, or a Homicidal Maniac...whatever her mood is.

Black Sweat Suit.
paint 2 yellow lines on it down the middle (optional).
Destuff a stuffed animal and staple it to the yellow lines on the shirt.

Last year DH just dressed in normal clothes, wore a big big bow, and a tag that said

From: God

He went as gods gift to women. :lmao:

That's pretty darn cute. I'm going to consider this next year. I'm thinking a piece of cardboard dangling from the front and another from the back, decorated as a box of cereal. A plastic knife and maybe some striped black and white inmate clothing (we know it's only symbolic), with the words cereal killer written out somewhere. VERY CREATIVE IDEA!!!

My kids just left for their high school Halloween costume ball (lol that's the term they used). My son wore black witch type dress and cape and a mask that had ragged hair dangling from it. He was cute (ugly really), but not original at all, but hey, he's happy.

My daughter and a one of the kids' closest friends went as Prince Charming and Cinderella. This boy was super creative designing his costume. He bought plastic gold Christmas garland (like red beads, but different shapes and all gold), he then cut them into little strips and attached them to the arm of a white dress shirt. He then got some gold and silver other type garland to make the sash, etc and added a gold belt. They just left and he worked on it all night long. When he came down, I just said, WOW! He really did a good job. We're going to upload pics later on and I'll post a pic if they get some good ones. I wanted them to pose for pics before they left, but they were running late and were really in a hurry to get out the door. I told them I wanted a copy of every pic they took tonight.

That's funny. :lmao:

Last year I wore a white trash bag w/ a big "S" on it. I covered a paper plate in tin foil, cut several holes in it and wore it on my head.

I was a salt shaker-but not just any old salt shaker. I was Jimmy Buffet's lost shaker of salt.

Oh that's funny!

We saw a guy at our church fall festival last night with a huge stuffed magnet around his neck, with some rubber duckies attached to it - a chick magnet.

A breast feeding mom we knew had a fish tank around, where her blouse should be - overflowing with fake necklaces, etc. She was a "treasure chest". Her dh was a pirate!

OH MY GAAAAAAAAAAAAAWD!!!! :lmao:

That is hilarious. I think I could actually get my DH to dress as that. He is not a huge fan of Halloween but I love it! I wanted to go to MNSSHP but DH didn't want to dress up. I'll bet I can convince him to wear that... Hmmm...

I smell a Parrothead :rotfl:

Great idea.

Mine is for a couple. Take camoflauge outfit (top and bottoms must be separate). One person wears the top, the other the bottoms and they go as Upper and Lower GI.
