Has anyone here actually used this? I am curious... I'm trying to read reviews online and keep seeing the same thign and its throwing up a red flag:
Something like :
"I learned the proper verbiage to use. Its a miracle!"
"who woudl have thought 7 little words would do this?"
"You taught me the right thing to say!"

And the like...

I'm afraid those are planted reviews since nobody ever says anything even close to actual "STUFF" from the program. It's like a bunch of teasers!

Anyone?

I think you're right about them being planted reviews.

DH and I are going to be adopting through the Foster system, so have to take certain classes. The family therapist that taught the class we went to this weekend talked about the Love and Logic system of parenting. It makes so much sense!

Here is the main site for it. Love and Logic - Helping Parents and Teachers Raise Responsible Kids

Good luck!!

I hear this ad on the radio all the time. Sounds too good to be true and I think it's a scam. JMHO

I think they send you a belt and the verbiage goes something like this - "stop it now or I'll beat you". :rotfl:

So technically it's not false advertising but it's not a system you'd ever want to use.

Sorry - that's just the random thought that runs through my head when I hear it on the way to work.

And I will just apologize now to anyone who bought the system if it's on the up and up and it worked. And also to the guy who came up with the system if he is a Disser. :)

LOL. I thought exactly the same thing when I heard the ad on radio.

LOL! Sort of
"I brought you into this world, I can take you out" ???
:rotfl:

I've heard this too and I keep thinking how in the world could 7 little words be the cure all for kids poor behavior? I like nanny's way it makes so much since and I have gotten my kids in line with her way..

I've seen a couple threads on this board but haven't actually seen anyone with positive review yet? I'd also be curious to know how beneficial this program is. Is it only for out of control kids or does it provide good info for every day parents that have their kids somewhat under control

I think someone lent this to my husband once. I remember him listening to something in the car. We were having issues with our youngest at the time, he ended up being diagnosed with ADHD. Anyways, if I remember correctly he says something along the lines of "I am not going to argue with you." I think he equated arguing with empowering a child. I could be wrong. I'll dig through his car later and see if he still has it (I hope not, if it was borrowed. If it wasn't borrowed, he didn't tell me that he bought it. :headache: )

The program will help if you have argumentative or unruly kids. You have to put the time and effort into it, but if you do, it will give you positive results. It is really up to you.

I wouldn't trust any program that has to try so hard by planting posts on a Disney message board to support it. Looks like there are several on just this short thread. A reputable program won't need to spam the internets bumping up old threads looking for customers.

I would run as fast as I can from this. Even in the off chance that it might be a good program, their sales tactics are not and I certainly would not support a company that does business in such an underhanded way.

This program advertises it's "free" and "all we ask is that you fill out and send us back a questionaire." The fine print tells you have 90 days to sent it back from when you BUY the product.. not when you receive the cd's and material. The program is very time consuming.. and so it the questionaire.. and if you dont fill it out COMPLETELY.. you will not get your money back. .. Because there are like 7 cds and they tell you .. "Take a week for each CD to learn the techniques" (which after that time.. plus the time it takes finish the questionaire and to mail back the questionaire and for them to read and approve it.. from when your purchase day was equals OVER NINTY DAYS! Bingo.. you just paid 300 dollars NOT FREE anymore...!! Bonus for them! Too bad for you! You may even try to call in and ask for more time to complete everything in case you have some family problem come up wich delays you from completeing the course...and they will tell you "YES its ok to turn it in whenever you can.." (but they dont tell you.. you wont get your money back).. the program with shipping costs over 300 dollars.. SAVE your money and dont fall for this over priced gimmick or their sales tactics!
The phone reps are true salesman... not helpers.. and the company tries to hook you on other free programs to try.. hoping you will forget to cancel so they can collect that money too.. something like a 24hour parental hotline.
