Total Newbie - Please help!

Ok guys, I see and read all these great posts about DIY pillowcases, shirts, etc. How are you all doing them? I have the crafting ability of a turtle with two thumbs...not very good

I looked stuff up on ebay and wow...really neat but really expensive. We are on a tight budget for our trip but I would love love LOVE do to something like the pillowcases and shirts for my girls. Any help is much appreciated!!

Check out the tie-dyed shirts thread. I just made those and they were super easy and super cheap. You can get shirts from jiffyshirts.com REALLY cheap and they ship out the next day, or just go to Hobby Lobby or Michael's for cheap shirts too. My tie-dye kit cost me $10 and there was enough dye in there to make about 4 shirts.

Check out the creative DISigns thread. All the wonderful people over there will create a disign for you all you have to do is ask. You then print them off onto iron on transfer paper. Iron it to your tshirt and then your done!! They have awesome disigns and are really helpful.
