I am the thrill ride junkie in my family. I am planning on doing ToT and Rockin Roller Coaster single rider. Where should I send DH and the kids while I ride? I was thinking to Honey I Shrunk the Kids playset? What is the best time of day to ride these? Or will I be okay at anytime for single rider?

Thanks :)

ToT doesn't have single rider a single rider line and Rockin' Roller Coaster has the flakiest single rider line on property. At least once, I've waiting longer in single rider than I would have if I'd have just waited in line. I would consider making a beeline for those 2 rides first thing in the morning while DH and kids head over to sign up for Jedi Training (if that interests your kids).

Nope, I've got 2 girls with no interest in Jedi Training :( I've done ToT before....but maybe I can "convince my kids to ride it with me." :) My youngest DD (who will be 5) is the thrill seeker but I don't know if she will be tall enough. oh well, not going to worry if I don't get to ride it.

I am doing the same thing, DH and sons are going to LMA then to the playground if I'm not back yet. Your girls may not be interested in the stunt show though. What about coordinating it with one of the other shows they might like?

You could send them to Muppets 3-D and then play at the Frozen area. I think Wandering Oaken's Trading Post has a little play area. Or let them watch the Frozen Sing Along.

My vote is also for beauty and the beast. Or star tours. The histk playground and froZen are far. The playground will be boring to your kids if the youngest is 5, in my opinion. Are you doing rope drop? What about them doing toy story ? They will likely enjoy it twice anyway

And you can probably do both of those pretty quickly at rope drop. Much later each will have a long line

I would make a FP+ for TT and ride RRC first thing in the morning. Make the TT FP for the morning. There is a good chance (Depending on what you use FP for with your family) to get a 4th FP for you for whatever the latest FP+ is for the family as long as it is not Fantasmic or TSMM. Really, the only rides you need FP+ for at DHS is TOT, RRC, and TSMM....maybe Start Tours. Remember they are tiered so if everyone wants to ride TSMM- you can't get a RRC and a TSMM.

If you think your daughter might want to ride with you (she can probably ride ToT but not RRC) get two FP for TOT. The height restriction is 40 inches for TOT. Your DH can take the kids to the Honey I Shrunk the Audience Playground or another attraction while you ride.

In the alternative, you could probably ride them both in the morning at FD with not too much of a wait.

Since you would be sending them to the opposite side if the park, the playground may be the best bet.

Other options depending on what time you ride and what you are okay with missing.
Beauty and the Beast show (adjacent to TOT)
Muppets 4-D (close to the play set)
Indiana Jones Stunt Show
Great Movie Ride

Another option is to grab a snack and enjoy the streetmosphere.

We went last Sunday and riding these rides at open was best. Something odd with TOT, though--( 5 minute wait but we had FP). Kids road RNR twice in less than an hour (between 9:05 and 10am) and we arrived at TOT to a 90 minute wait. I am banking this was maybe a number of elevators active issue. All 4 were running when we used our FP. The waits did begin decreasing.

So I would almost suggest doing TOT at rope drop of you see the 5 minute wait and then follow with RNR. We went on a predicted crowd level 5 day, so YMMV. (Touring plans has suggested for standby rides to ride Toy Story first and then RNR--so viewing those for the day you plan on visiting would provide guidance. The TOT suggestion ended up being bad to an Uncharacteristically very early lengthy wait.)

Minimum height is 40". My daughter started riding at 3
