Tortilla Jo’s and Oga Reservations

I’ve made dinner reservations at Tortilla Joe’s for 7pm and Oga’s at 9.05pm. I initially thought we’d be done about 8:30 and then walk around to Oga’s. It hadn’t dawned on me that we’d have to get through the electrical parade/ fireworks crowds.

Do you think we would make it in time or should I cancel/ move one of my reservations? Would using the railroad to bypass Main Street be a good idea?

They keep the sidewalks flowing and at times open the behind Main Street passageway. The first Electrical Parade starts at the It’s A Small a World end. When enter can see how train looks. The walk probably faster. Should be ok getting there.

I have memories in the before times of the train not running during Fantasmic and fireworks. The quickest way would be down Main street through the shops as much as possible. The cms will keep the sidewalks moving but there will be lots of slow walkers trying to watch the parade as they walk.

Then go into Frontierland and go to Big Thunder Mountain and go into Galaxys Edge that way, avoiding the mess of Adventureland and New Orleans Square and the Fantasmic crowds.

We were just there this weekend and the train was running during Fantasmic. We took it to avoid the parade to get to Haunted Mansion and were able to see parts of the show while making our way down to the ride.

Also the fireworks are spectacular back there at the Black Spire Outpost.

Maybe you could take the Monorail. You could check the hours. That would drop you off in Tomorrowland.

They don't really let you cut through shops. They designate a side of the sidewalk on the left side of main street to walk up while the parade is going. People exiting the park are sent out the back alley behind Main Street. You cannot walk through shops on that side. The first parade starts near small world and doesn't arrive on Main Street until close to 9pm. So, if you get in before then, you can likely quickly walk up Main Street to Frontierland.
