Ok, I admit, never was a big fan of Tori Spelling so never had a desire to watch any of her shows.

I caught a Home Sweet Hollywood marathon the other weekend, and got kind of interested and have been watching the last few weeks. I actually think she seems like a really sweet person! Her and Dean just seem so normal if that makes any sense. I mean, her rental house isn't any nicer than my house!

I just find it so interesting to see how hard she has to work and that just because you are famous doesn't make your life any easier.

Anyone else watch?

Yes, I watch too. There are a group of us in the office who have watched for a couple of seasons. I dothink she is quite normal as well. We all just read her book and it is very interesting and sad....

I find the show amusing. I like Tori Spelling, she seems like a decent person.
I don't really care for her Dh though, something about him rubs me the wrong way :confused3
Liam is very cute :thumbsup2

I've this season watched too. I was home sick and there was nothing on. Everything I know and stand for expected to hate this show - however I also liked it and liked her.

I also happened to watch a few episodes - thinking along the lines that I didnt really care for her, but she does seem awfully 'normal'.

I like the 2 of them - and their little monkey. Theyre a cute couple. They really work well together.

I was debating if I wanted to read the book.....I think I will check if the library has it....

Forgot to mention, I think Uncle Danny is adorable :)

I watched Inn Love until comcast moved the station to the next tier. We should be ungrading soon so i'll be able to watch again.
Anyone know what happened to the Bed and breakfast? Did they sell it, or did they jsut hire someone to manage it?

I love Tori and Dean - I think their reality show is a lot less "staged" than some of the other reality shows about celeb real lives (like the Kardashians, the Hogans, Denise Richards, etc).

I also read her book and have really grown to like her. Liam is just so adorable too!

I like it too! And I always "hated" Tori! But I caught it one day and decided to watch it to prove to myself I didn't like her, but found out quite the opposite! Now I can't wait to read the book- I read an excerpt in a magazine and it was really good. Explains why/how she got such a low inheritance from her father's estate also (so did her bro, btw).

I have been a Tori fan since 90210, so I also watch it. I think Tori is as normal as a celebrity can be. She has had quite the interesting life. I read the book and it was a good read. Funny and sad at the same time. All she really wants (and wanted) was a good relationship with her mother- which she never had. I feel kinda sad for her.

I can't watch. I knew her first husband. Charlie and I went to college together. It was a HUGE deal when they got married. (Oh and I was not invited to the wedding by the way neither were any of the college friends- not even the roomie!! - he went Hollywood)
And really according to him it was a huge slap in the face. She cheated on him after swearing nothing was going on. Now quite frankly I always thought Charlie was gay. But he thought their marriage was the real deal. So I feel kind of bad for him.
Oh and I would crack up when they did get married as they were saying he was 5 years younger than he really was!! Hollywood. Now I don't know if that is what he was telling Tori.

I have not watched but have always had a problem with how her first marriage ended.

Me too. I actually have had to take a lot of ribbing for watching this show -- it is so not like me to watch these kinds of shows.

I've always wanted to see it, but it seems my cable company doesn't offer the Oxygen network. I've seen some repeats shown on another channel, but didn't want to watch the episodes out of order.

I have watched only one or two episodes from last season. I like it. I will say Liam is absolutely gorgegous!!! :goodvibes

Yes, he is a beautiful child.

I think this Dean character is a loose cannon. Tori's mother Candy is a smart lady for giving Tori only a tiny fraction of the wealth. This drifter, Dean McDermott could swoop in and take it all! Candy is better off leaving the money to the grandkids.

I watch it. I like the show. Even being "Hollywood" they seem like a nice "normal" couple.

I really like this show, Tori and Dean seemed so down to earth. Liam is so cute. I really really hope that Tori and her mom can get along at some point. that seems that what Tori wants more then anything is a good relationship with her mom

Tori needs to grow up and stop talking so negatively about her mom. Jeez, nothing is sacred. I think she went over the line in her book. Even if you think your mom is a total witch, you don't make money off of it. You don't air your laundry.

Tori is downright adorable but sometimes pretty ditzy. Come on, a french fry joint? :lmao: Wonder how much that cost them? And then the B&B? It seems like she gets a ton of (expensive) ideas, doesn't think them through, and then ends up losing money. The french fry one was REALLY funny, but kind of sad when they were shut down by the health department... popcorn::

It seems they were really stressing the large house payment, I hope it works out for them!

Sometimes Dean does seem gold-diggerish, but most of the time he really dotes on Tori. Especially how bad he felt after the boating incident. Did y'all see how he made it up to her? The cabana and the cabana boys for the next boating excursion? How cool! :wizard:

Lately, though, it seems that Hollywood MAY be getting to their heads. What with the supersized Liam's first bday party. Holy cow, did they say that cost them TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND dollars? Yikes! Ummm..scale back on the parties, and you'll be able to make your house payment easier! :scared1:
