Feel free to add to this list of subjects that will definitely get you in HOT water

These are red for a reason. Stay away from them they're HOT.

1. Do not ask for compensation in the form of free upgrades/nights for an inconvenience (I believe you now know that one by heart)

2. Do not ask if you can fit more than the legal number of persons in a room (Go ahead and do it but don't ask about it here)

3. Do not ask if 10 year old refillable mugs that you saw posted on ebay are OK to use on your next visit. In fact do not even string together the words refillable and mug in the same sentence just to be safe.

4. Do not ask if you can smoke on the balcony of a non smoking room.

5. Do not ask which of your major appliances you can take on your trip to use in your room. This especially applies to crockpots, george foreman grills, microwaves or your washing machine.

6. Do not ask if you can/should nurse your baby in public. Public includes any place that someone besides the baby can see what you're doing.

7. Do not ask anything about one person saving your place in line while the other 20 in your party go to the bathroom.

8. Another set of words you never want to put together is Towel and Animal. If you see one consider yourself lucky but don't ask if you can take it home or if your entitiled to a zoo of towel animals because you spent a lot on your trip.

9. Any thread starting out, "My vacation was ruined because...." is bound to be trouble. Misery does not love company.

10. Never get into threads that refer to parents as breeders, kids as rug creeps or people without children as selfish, self centered, uncaring or child haters.

11. Last but not least do not ask about any situation where you're going to do what you want, but you'd like to have 50,000 people help you justify it.

You guys are right.

12. Homeschooling

13. Homosexuality

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have to admit I have never seen a refillable mug thread...having heard so many warnings against them I am naturally curious!

I am, however, much too smart to post an opinion on them!:p

Do not ask what's on the menu somewhere - you'll probably be accused of trying to elimate peanut butter from all theme parks.

And long posts are just out of the question. Pop Daddy will come after you.

How about the staying on/offsite debate.

Oh no, we don't EVER stay offsite! :snooty:  :p

Should children be allowed at Pleasure Island? :)

I thought mine covered a lot of territory on the other thread, so I'll paraphrase it here. :)

When posting, keepin in mind that you are NOT entitled to a mistake. You must NEVER, EVER make a mistake; nor should you EVER show anger, despair, unhappiness and anything that may resemble a human emotion other than perfectness. If, however, in a moment of weakness you chose to disregard this advice, you the undersigned agree to tolerate a group of people swooping down and publically pointing out your mistake. This is ordinarily done in a tormenting, beating of the horse type manner. The offending poster must ALSO realize that he/she wrote it and must stand by it for possibly years into the future. Its the property of the group now, its theirs to comment on and ultimately pick apart til the meaning of your sentence is long lost in a barrage of hatefulness.

Learn this rule, live by it, and you'll never find yourself in hot water. Sure, you may feel like a robot, but its generally preferable to hot water.

Another thing................ Especially on the Resort boards. DO EVEN think of being anything less than Pixie Dust Perfect. No negativity allowed, at all. If you had a bad time, don't tell anyone, because it really NEVER happened. At least to "them", "they" will jump all over you for saying anything bad about the "Best Resort in the World".

HMG

Get a nice cup of coffee or a coke and your reading glasses then do a search on the word Circumcision on the Debate Board.

*NOTE: I will not be responsible for you spitting hot coffee on your screen, keyboard, mouse or circumcised member.:umbrella:

Here's another one:

Mother's taking their son's into the women's restroom.

Don't forget to stay on the topic of the board, don't ask resort questions on the CB, mention a DIS meet on the budget board, or a cruise question on the WISH board....and never gripe that your thread was moved off the CB to a more "appropriate" forum.

HOWEVER, if you are of the mindset to ignore the rule about keeping on topic, figure out how to become a mod or webmaster. They seem to be able to post threads about whatever they want, wherever they want.
