Yay! Our dates are included (nov 26-dec5) but our resort isn't.. We are booked in a LM room right now for 10 days. Ran the numbers and we can upgrade to a mod for $3600 or stay in AoA at rack rate and full price dining for $3700... Hmmm... Don't really want to move to POP....

OK after all the negative comments about the credibility of my previous year announce and after the release in the exact day that I have predicted I hope that all of you are more confident this year.

OH! MY! GOSH! I am dong the happy dance now!! I have been calling everyday looking for a pin code and NOTHING! We have 4 Royal Guest rooms booked at the POR 11/11-19 for 12 people. A pin code would have only covered 3 rooms! I am so excited!!!! Does anyone know what the price difference would be to upgrade to deluxe dining? I will be sitting by the phone at 5AM my time to call in!!!

We are staying in a RGR too with upgraded DxDP, we got a PIN and somehow have all 4 rooms booked with FDing anyway to upgrade to DxDP is $33 per adult and $9 or $12 per child. For us staying 7 nights 2 adults and 2 kids, it was like $500 BUT FDing saved us $989!

I received this PIN, and I was so hoping that the GP release would not have those black out dates!

I have an FD pin... if I book 2 rooms with other adults (that do not live with me, my parents.... can they have the free dining offer if not at same address as me? Rooms are under my name.

Usually you can book up to 3 rooms in your name, for others, as long as you are one of the guests in one of the rooms. Everyone in a room must be, on the same package...so same tickets, same dining plan. There usually is a minimum ticket requirement. Free dining is based on nights of stay. Hope that helps!

The middle two weeks have been blacked out for years. If your dates are flexible, I would switch.

I need to book 3 rooms. 2 rooms will need 6 days of tickets, but we will only need 2 days of tickets as we have AP and that is all we need. Can I make that with one reservation, or must each room have all the same days of tickets.

It isn't a HUGE deal if we have to buy 6 days as we are more than likely renewing our annual passes and we can just use the tickets towards that, but I was just asking in case we are not ready to make that decision yet.

As long as whoever needs 2 day tickets are in a room together, the other rooms can have whatever tickets and DP they want(as long as it meets the min amount)
YOu can make all 3 room ressies under a GG(and you are leader) so that they are all connected but seperate. I did this. One room is staying half of the time we are and it was ok

One item that hasn't been said yet, and it's been put forth in other posts covering the free dining topic, and that's the dates.

Reading the original post and comparing it to my pin code offer that I got back in May, the dates are unchanged. Many wondered if once a GP offering came out if they'd add or take away date options. At this point, it appears to be no change from previously released PIN code offers.

Also, this was touched on once, it is your check in date that triggers whether you get the free dining or not. There were a couple posters that commented on that they were checking in prior to an eligible date but staying within a/o beyond the valid dates.

As long as you check in during the eligibility period it does not matter if your stay extends into the blackout dates, you will still get it for up to 14 days. We check in on 11/23 but are staying into the blackout date (12/3) but will get it for the full 10 days.

For those that are checking in prior to an eligibility period, you have two primary options. If flexible, change your dates. If your dates are locked in, then make the best of it do a split stay. Book a room only reservation for the black out period and then a MYW package with free dining. This works really well if you are arriving one day prior to the eligibility period. We did this at POR and we didn't have to change rooms, only check out and recheck back in the following day. If you have to cover more days, then not sure how the tickets work, you may have to do some math to see if free dining still save money if you have to pay more for tickets.
