Rinky, that's not uncommon. Some views are sometimes not included or VERY few rooms. Sometimes they open up other views later though, so keep checking back for Standard at the discount rate.

ASMo 11/25-12/3! Just a couple of FYIs- you have to put the deposit on your Visa (I was planning on using some stashed gcs, but no biggie), and ASMo only had preferred rooms left (was planning on doing that anyway).

Well, took FOREVER, but they modified my old reservation from September and switched me to Nov/Dec. Although, she accidentally added an extra night at the end which I can't leave on, but I'll change that later. :thumbsup

Hung up and called back... another CM told me the same thing about POR. Standard rooms are not included in the offer for POR or POFQ. They are included for CBR and CS though.

So I should go ahead and book an alternate resort with the FD and hope my original becomes available, also with the free dining? I hate to be without the FD!

It's not a sure thing that what you want will show up, so do book something you'd be happy with. But then keep checking.

Thanks Brook! The CM told me that they may open up some standards when the offer goes public on the 12th, so I'll check back then. She thinks POR standards are not included b/c the resort has just been refurbed.

Just got off the phone and switched my reservation from AOA LM room back to Pop, which is what I originally had. Guess we'll have to try AOA another time.

Mine hasn't been updated on the Disney site either. I think it takes a bit to update on their system. I wouldn't worry. I had to make a payment because we switched from a 30% code to FD, and it isn't showing that yet either.

if i have their confirm# and info can i add free dining to theirs on the same phone call as mine? ( i need to link our ressies anyhow)

Yep, makes sense. Disney will try to get every dollar they can first. IF the rooms book up (due to the refurb, higher demand), they won't put the discount on them. If they don't, then they will open them up. However, all of POR was refurbed, so I'm not sure that is the reason here...who knows! lol

Same with the Little Mermaid rooms though, they are in demand since they are new, so Disney will first try to see how many people stay at Little Mermaid and pay without a discount. They tried this earlier with the AoA Suites, and everyone jumped ship to 2 Rooms at Pop...then they added them to the discount...so, I'm thinkin' we'll see Little Mermaid rooms added shortly after the public discount is out. We'll see though!

Just booked free dining. Had to switch to POP from LM, but too big of a savings for us not to switch. We can always walk over and see AoA.
