Top restaurants you cant miss

We arrive on the 22nd oct I was staying at carribbean beach and had second thoughts so have decided to change :)

It's funny as we almost booked CBR because we hadn't been before but decided to stick with AKL as we always end up eating there several times per trip.

Do you have any kids going with you? I have a son who'll be 8 who loves AKL :)

That is funny, I have 3 kids 2 girls and my son will be 9. Which place do you prefer to eat at at AKL? I am booking them both at least once not been before.

We love Yachtsman Steakhouse. This is where DS (9 at the time) fell in love with steak, service is great. Even with small children you feel right at home and totally spoilt :-)

Sorry for going off topic!

We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort (1st ever WDW visit). My 1st choice was Port Orleans Riverside, but got a better deal at CBR.

Curious as to your second thoughts. Have you stayed before, or was it the quick service dining plan that swayed you?

We can't get enough of Boma for breakfast and dinner. Hoping to try Jiko and Sanaa for the first time this year too.

Whoa! That's a whole new subject and I'm sure you will get lots of replies if you start a new thread (or explore old ones) on the subject. The majority of Disers have eaten offsite at some time and opinions are extremely varied as to where is best, although practically all are good and so much cheaper than Disney. It could be of course that you have already dined offsite and want some other input. I'll kick off with:
Dinner: Bahama Breeze,Carrabbas, Cheesecake Factory,Crackerbarrel, Sweet Tomatoes, Millers Alehouse/Orlando alehouse, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden,
Lunch: Mimis (also dinner), Wolfgang Puck Express @DTD (brilliant), Panera Bread (also really good)
Breakfast: Sizzler (excellent value), and our favourite Sunday morning breakfast venue - Crave @ Mall at Millenia.

...and I'm sure that I've left some out. These though are probably our favourites. We have got into the habit of dining initially (FD) in Disney then moving offsite and enjoying these offsite restaurants, sometimes paying the same for the meal as we did just in tips onsite.:scared1: I suppose really that it's difficult to go wrong anywhere, unless you are unlucky, which has happened occasionally.
