Top restaurants you cant miss

We have moved hotels and are now going to animal kingdom lodge which gives us the DDP instead of just quick service meals I haven't been with this before and unsure.

where is the best places to use are table service meals from your experiences I am a family of 5 kids aged 11-9-6 thanks

Teppan Edo, 1900 Park Fayre (excellent buffet, best buffet by a mile in our opinion), the German buffet Teppan Edo also.

We didn't enjoy Coral Reef and found the quality of the food in Chef Mickeys poor whilst the character interaction was very good x

Our favourites are O'hanas, & California Grill. They are on our "must do" list, this time along with Be Our Guest since it's new, and we need to try the Grey Stuff

• Yachtsman Steakhouse

Our really like but not necessarily every trip but probably once a year:

• Artist Point
• Tusker House - breakfast

We are staying just 7 nights this October and the fact that California Grill is a MUST for us (17th Wedding Anniversary) means we only have 5 bookings that we can make as we are staying at AKL we have decided to do Boma (one of our favourites) again leaving 4 choices so as a family we all get to choose one based on our last 6 visits:
DS14 - Coral Reef (my son's favourite)
DD16 - Be our Guest (The grey stuff is delicious!)

Myself and DH are undecided as we like to try at least one place new I may try Le Cellier again or Tepan Edo but I LOVE Ohanas - fantastic and watching wishes from the beach is great. I'd also recommend Saana - we loved it there and it is nice an close at Kidani Village.

A nice mix of meals in parks and at some of the resorts and you cannot go wrong.

The grey stuff is a teaspoon size bit of mousse - they give it to you if you are celebrating at dinner (although not guaranteed) however they now sell a grey stuff cupcake. Its a oreo flavour i believe.

They also do another grey stuff dessert, its like a hard cake bar with 3 blobs of grey stuff on, didn't think much of it to be honest! Cupcakes was much better!

I hadn't seem the actual dessert as it wasn't for sale when we went. TBH I am no rush to go back

Our kids were similar ages to yours when we went. They really enjoyed Chef Mickeys and Garden Grill - dinner at both. As for us adults, we really enjoyed Ohana and Rose and Crown and Saana. The kids remembered the experiences, whilst we remembered the quality of the food lol.

If you have daughters, Akershus was really good.
Next time we go Ohana breakfast and Be Our Guest are on our 'must-do' list.

We loved Jiko last year but this year I'm definitely going to try Be Our Guest & Cali Grill

Jiko's is one of our favs. TBH it varies year on year ie Boma's used to be one of our must do's but last time we went we didn't like it at all. Teppan Edo was the worst meal we ever had at WDW last year..its can change. I will give them another go at some point though.
Also loved Artist Point at WL.
Still haven't tried Sanaa yet but that's on our must do for next time
Our best meal last year was a QS meal at Pop Century where we had a design your own Taco...it was so good.

Definitely don't miss Boma!

On our last trip we did one breakfast and two dinners there in 7 days partly because it was convenient as we were staying there, but mainly because the food was a-mazing. I was very sceptical about the type of food there, but tried bits of everything and it was delicious!

Since your staying at AKL Sanaa is a fave of ours had 2 lovely meals there! Our other favourites include Kona cafe, Yachtsman steakhouse and had a lovely meal in Wolfgang Pucks in downtown last time as well!
