Yes, you should go. First, it's a very nice breakfast, you will have to hear their talk, but not very long at all. And, you will be given some promotional items. When we went it was a a reusable bag, portfolio, pin and most of all fast passes! I think we each got 5 and it was very, very helpful during our stay.

And, if you have never seen BLT the tour is worth it. We stayed there last March and loved it.

How do you sign up for this? We are BLT owners but might like to add on. Can we attend this event?

when you are at Disney talk to a CM (in DVC) and they can sign you up.

yes all DVCers can attend.

got to see a GV in ours and it was worth it for me. wanted to see one for a long time.

Did you add on? The last time we went to one of these things (1+ years ago) they offered a ton of stuff, only to be told that the fast passes were only for those who actually purchased. It was very misleading. We are staying at BLT, so it would be easy for us to hear what they have to say one morning.

We went to a presentation on BLT and ended up purchasing. The disappointment was that the fastpass vouchers are only good for four days, and our presentation was on the last day of the current stay. By the time we got back to the parks, all fastpasses had been distributed, so our vouchers were worthless. It would be nice if they had no expiration date so that it truly compensated us for the time we spent waiting for the transport van, at the sales pitch, and then waiting again for transportation back to the parks.

A breakfast at Top of the World certainly seems like a much more enjoyable way to learn about BLT rather than a small office over at Kidani!

we already own DVC @ AKL, we got a RemindEARS email & in the email it said for us to check in w/a dvc rep @ our resort. we r stayin @ boardwalk. I think we r going to talk to them when we get there sat morning. it is just going to be &my hubby so time is flexible for us this trip.

When are these held - at the same day of week and time or does the schedule vary?

Even though the fastpasses had been distributed for the day a CM opened a machine and got us fastpasses for TSM. We just asked if we could get them using the DVC fastpass card. They are immediate use fast passes.

I thought they were good for four days from the day of first use, so you could save them for your next trip.

We went to one last July.

Would we do it again? No...it was too time consuming. Sure, it was great to see the TOWL, but heck, we're going to see it when we stay there this summer. The whole thing was just very slowwwwww-moving.

Is the whole family included in the invitation, or just the adults? Thanks!

my husband & I signed up @ the dvc counter @ our dvc resort (BWV) & the rep asked us what day was good and she called to see what times were available. we went on sunday @ 1. we walked into BLT @ front door floor level. we signed in (gave us two cards w/3 FP on each card) & they took us up in groups of @ 10. we went diectly to the top of the world lounge where we were greeted by a presentor who gave us a bag (fabric) with a leatherbound foder w/paper pad,and a dvc lanyard. they had chocolate cheesecake lollipops, finger sandwiches & drinks(iced tea, coffee, water). they we sat & listened to a dvc presentation. from there we had a "tour" consisting of the pool, and sample rooms. if u were interested in talking w/a dvc rep to purchase, u could but there was no pressure. we were done by 3pm. so total time invested was 2 hours. some people had their kids there but my little ones would have NEVER sat thru that time period, so be cautious of that. (some left their kids in the community hall.)
I hope this helps anyone wo had some Q's!

Nope, they clearly state that they are good for four days from date of issue. I also verified this with Guest Services at Epcot and also with our Guide. Since we got them late in the afternoon on our last day there, and all fastpasses had already been given out for the day, they were useless to us.

We weren't able to use the fast passes and they gave us $15 Disney gift cards instead (three of us, so we got three). :cool1:

Really???? Everyone got fast passes when we went to the TOTW lounge event, and very few actually stayed behind to add-on.
