Top of the World at BLT

If we will be staying at BLT on points, can we invite someone staying at another Disney property to join us? Does everyone need to be staying at BLT or can you invite a guest to join you? I know this has probably been asked before, but wanted to make sure before I embarrassed myself or my friends.

It depends on the CM working. Some CMs will check everyone for room key. Some CMs even want to see the BLT room key and at least one DVC member card. Others are happy to see a single DVC member BLT room key for a group.

As previous poster said, it depends on the CM running the desk. When we were there last year, we all had to show our KTTW card that said DVC on it. We had to do that each time we went up.

In December when we went, it was the same thing. We have never been asked for the membership card, however, but have heard that others have.

Technically, however, the lounge is restricted to guests staying at BLT using a DVC membership (points or cash stays booked through MS) so any guests of other resorts are not supposed to be allowed.

You can add your friend's names to your BLT reservation if it doesn't exceed the maximum number of guests allowed for the size villa you have booked then they can join you at TOTW lounge no questions; members do this at BCV so their visiting friends can join them at StormAlong Bay.

Unless they are on the dining plan, and then this would not work as they would be forced to buy that for the guest.

But, if not, it is a great way to take care of it.

Yes and maybe it could be good for TOTWL too since it still seems that most nights it could benefit from more guests being there.
