1900 Park Fare for dinner, Cinderella and crew,
CRT for breakfast or lunch ( the castle usually thrill little girls),
Akershus, again the princesses
Chef Mickeys breakfast or dinner, the fab five
Crystal Palace, any meal, Pooh and friends

My daughter loved Crystal Palace-dancing in the parade with Pook and friends was a highlight.
She also loved Akershus in Epcot. We did breakfast with the princesses and it was awesome. She was only 3 but loved meeting them all. Each one comes to your table and spends time with you and takes pictures. The food was good too and our daughter loved the food at both places. She barely at at the other restaurants.
Oh, she also likes the Hollywood and Vine in DHS. We did this when she was only 2 years old and we stayed for breakfast forever She loved the characters, and ate lots too!

My picks would be, in no particular order:

Askershus for dinner: Cinderella may, or may not, be there but you're sure to meet some of her favorite princesses. My dd was thrilled to meet Snow White this time! She was sure Akershus was Snow White's castle. You'll also get a nice picture done with a princess in her ball gown. Pack a princess dress!

1900 Park Fare: For a little girl (okay, BIG girls too ) it's like being invited to Cinderella's party. The Grand Floridian is so lovely and the characters are very entertaining. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine (stepmother) and the stepsisters are there. (Although the stepsisters are a hoot, my dd was a little frightened of Lady Tremaine.) The food is "okay" but it's fresh and the mini desserts are good. Another dress-up oportunity.

Crystal Palace: One of our favorites! Good food (GREAT desserts) and lot's of fun with Pooh and friends. Conveniently located right in MK

Hollywood and Vine lunch: Okay, this one sometimes gets bad reviews but we have always liked it. IMO the food is tasty and dancing with the Playhouse Disney characters is a trip highlight. Know going in that H & V is set up like a cafeteria so it's a little crowed and noisy (and sometimes the waitstaff is a bit harried) but we've always had a good time.

Chef Mickey's: We've had good food here and not-so-good food here, so it's hit or miss BUT who doesn't want to meet Minnie and Mickey?! F-U-N and decorate your own sundaes.

O'hana: this one will be liked by both adults and little ones (as long as she's not very shy). The singer is so good with kids and leads them in hula lessons and coconut races. Try to sit at or near the windows.

I'll add in CRT because it's in The Castle. Some love it, some not so much. We liked it but didn't think it was worth the price. We felt rushed and aside from meeting Cinderella downstairs for a photo, you won't see her again. If eating in the castle is special to you, then do it. If not, do another princess meal.

If you are looking for a restaurant that will appeal to the adults I would recommend The Wave.

When we were there the service was faster than any of the other TS we ate at. When you have young children that don't like doing 1 1/2-2 hour meals, then either do a buffet or The Wave. We even asked at the Kona Cafe to be served fast and it still was much slower than The Wave.

1) Corral Reef (an entire wall of the resturaunt is the side of a fish tank)
2) Morraco (it is beautiful in there & they have musicians & a belly dancer, the kids get to dance)
3) Garden Grill (Mickey & pals & the resturaunt rotates

MK
1) Crystal Palace (Pooh & friends)
2) skip the castle, the food was horrible. if you want to do something in the castle take her to the BBBoutique & get her hair done.

Resorts
1) Ohana (breakfast-Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, & Pluto, dinner- the kids are in a parade in the restaraunt & you can see the water parade)
2) Wilderness Lodge (stick horse races & something about ketchup)

We will be traveling in December w/ a Disney Newbie (DH), my 15 yo DD (been several times), 4 yo DS, & 1 yo DS. Any ideas on where to eat? Counter service okay too. I was wondering what CMeal you would pick & why???? TIA

And Scifi diner in HS

All are fun for kids and adults and have really good food and character interactions (bring your autograph books!)!!!!!

Our daughter (3) really liked this past spring and summer:

California Grille- great meal for the adults and she was able to color and got an "appetizer" bowl of goldfish they brought out automatically

Whispering Canyon Cafe - louder and more rowdy but good basic food and a lot for her to do (horse races, dancing..)

Cinderella's Royal Table- went for dinner and she loved eating in the castle and the adults thought the food was good

Kona Cafe- food was good and there's alot to look at because of the openness we also got her one of the Tink light up drinks here so that may have helped her enjoy it
