Top 3 favorite disney moments / things to do in park--not rides or characters :)

I love the ferryboat from the TTC-MK. There's nothing like approaching the castle from over the water!

I found a completely new way to watch Wishes too- from the wooden walkway that runs along Liberty Square by the riverboat with a dole whip, watching the fireworks explode over the water. Magical!

And finally, MK at dusk is just my favourite time to be in the park. The sun beginning to set over Cinderella Castle and Main Street already all lit up- gorgeous!

Outside of the parks, I'd have to say a private, fireworks cruise. The music is piped in and you are served refreshments. I have done this twice now, and it was WONDERFUL, pricey, but worth every penny.

Inside the parks, I'd have to say shopping for candy in the Japan pavilion. They have some really neat stuff you can't find here in the USA.

What are transportation cards? :magnify:

The bus, monorail, and certain boat drivers/captains have them -- they're trading cards that tell you about the buses, monorails, and boats (you probably figured that part out!). I posted a picture of them years ago (edited to add: I can't believe cutting and pasting from that old post worked!):

Here's a photo of the bus cards. I'm not sure where the monorail cards are right now, but they're basically the same. Each card has a different character on it to help you tell them apart, but they're numbered too. We managed to collect 5 or 6 of the 18 cards, but we still haven't ridden a boat that has them! There are 3 bus cards, 11 monorail cards and 4 boat cards (I think). I left the picture large so you could get a good look at them!

Ooh what's goofy bingo!?

It's Bingo with a card with the Disney characters. Some of the CMs make it like a combination of Bingo and Disney character trivia. The kids got some fun, goofy prizes when they got a Bingo. My daughter got an enormous pair of plastic sunglasses. Games and prizes are always fun.

1. Stopping and watching the ducks at MK and Epcot.
2. People watching with a pretzel, Mickey Bar or churro. We like to guess where they are from and if it is their first visit.
3. Tree of life carvings.

Our family ritual I think every time we have gone to WDW:
1. Making a game out of spotting things from the monorail (including the barges for the "sea monster" electric boat parade thing. (Don't know what's it called because we always call is the sea monster.
2. Spotting the 5-legged goat at the Contemporary Resort
3. Last day: Go to the MK and get a hot dog from Casey's Corner and enjoy the ragtime pianist. (usually one of us ventures over to the ice cream place across Main St and gets ice cream once the dogs are gone.)

Sitting in the rocking chairs in MK (across from Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe) people watching
Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk
Stopping for a cold cocktail at Poly after a long, hot morning at the MK

1. The Animation Academy class at DHS! We've done it a couple times a trip every time. It's so fun to compare our drawings at the end and when we get home, we have all of ours saved from over the years! One of our best memories was when I received the artist's drawing of Phineas and Ferb, I was so surprised!

2. Enjoying a snack (used to be ice cream from Fountainview, but it seems as though that's a Starbucks now) and listening to the music in Future World which is my favourite Disney music!

3. I purchased one of the kids' passports for World Showcase on our last trip (I was 18 at the time). Surprisingly this turned out to be one of our favourite memories, I spoke to a CM in every country and learned things about their languages and cultures (most memorably, discovering that my birthday's position makes me Year of the Rooster instead of Year of the Dog from the CMs in the China pavilion). Mom and I love talking to the World Showcase CMs every chance we get to!

Epcot FW music - as you walk up to SE
POR bus music
The smell of the food cooking in The Land
The singing lessons on MS
When the trash cans blow bubbles pre RD at MK
When they draw pictures on the streets with water
All the CMs with Mickey Gloves waving when you leave Epcot at night
Waiting for Illuminations with my snack by the WSL - the anticipation of that show is as good as the show for me.
Watching the monorail go in & out of the Contemporary & taking bets on which color is coming next
The first. & last Mickeys Premium of the trip
Wow I don't think I've ever done any of these per se! Singing lessons on MS? Mission Space?
