Top 10 Signs You Are Addicted to Disney aka You Know You Need Help When...

LOL :rotfl: you guys make me feel so much better! i thought i was the only one with these problems! i just booked my next trip and got my airfare now im on to waiting and revising my dining plans over and over again!!

Oh my gosh...I'm not alone!!!!

I'm the one who ordered the planning DVD even though I've been there more times than I can remember! And now my DS (4) is addicted to it and wants to watch it over and over :cheer2:

He and his sister (6) are always asking if we can go back to Disney and my standard reply is, "Ask your father" -- I swear he must think I put them up to it!

I didn't think we'd be back again this year but I couldn't pass up the 4/3 deal and I guess my kids have some magic of their own that they used to bring Daddy around!

Your husband has to take away your Disney travel planning book---because you are reading it in church!!!

Tell Tale sign you are addicted.

Getting a new puppy and only considering (girl) princess names.

By the way Belle is the winner!

Oh ya I am disney obessed, or is it I am just in constant disney therapy? hmmmm?:lmao:

:dog2::dog2:

I must have been subconsciously thinking the same thing: both of our dogs are named Disney names. Daisy :dog:and Tinkerbell:tink:

how about buying new shirts for summer and thinking - will these go with our lanyards...?

You know you are addicted when the password on your computer at work expires and you can't choose a new one until you make a new resort reservation! Thats how I remember my new passwords....our next visit!

You can remember all 12 numbers?????

Love this thread!
I'ts nice to know I'm not the only one who obsesses about Disney 24/7.
I thought we were the only ones who wanted to move to Florida and work at disney.

#? You are thinking about renewing your vows at Disney or trying to talk all your kids into getting married at Disney.

Haha! The first dog I ever had was named "Mickey"!

I have one . . .

You have a bag/box (or bedroom :rolleyes1) where you throw things all year long that you pick up at dollar tree, wal-mart, target, etc. for the next time even if the next time isn't booked or "officially" planned yet. :lmao:

You know you are addicted when...

...(like me) all you passwords at work are Disney "themed".

...you re-read Walt Disney biographies because everything else is boring.

...you have turned a "once in a lifetime" trip into an annual family vacation :thumbsup2

When you create more Disney teeshirts than days you are going or people in your family!

When you paint Mickey heads on your already painted nails!

And yes, when your passwords are all Disney related!!!!:worship:

Had to rescue this thread :thumbsup2

-If sitting here right now you could give an exact bus hopping procedure to get TO any resort FROM any resort in the shortest amount of time possible

-When asked what you want for dinner, a Disney restaurant is almost always put jokingly, if not half seriously, up as a suggestion

-Your dogs/pets have "Disney only" items and clothes to take to the Disney kennel with them, often requiring their own luggage

-You have been made seriously upset by a change by Disney when you have no trip planned for it to affect

-Every holiday is now up for the possibility of "wouldn't it be nice if we could go to Disney for..."

-You don't actually know what the inside of MCO looks like because you run with blinders on, to the rental/magical express areas because you are already running late for an ADR

-Your cabinet contains nothing but Disney cups and people at the office comment on the number resort mugs you have

My top ten signs are summed up by two (2):

1. When almost every PP's Top 10 signs apply to you.

2. When you just returned, and you are going back in two (2) weeks just to see the Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, and you don't live in Florida.

I don't think this obsession is a problem.:confused3 I think the problem is the people who are not obsessed with Disney. Okay, maybe I do need help. NOT!! I am perfectly okay with my addiction to Disney.:wave2:

When you open up your Disney photo album any time you are in a foul mood or something bad happens, in an effort to cheer yourself up :)

wow this thread is hilarious...my mom says I shoud be a Disney travel agent...lol...

I live an hour from Disney...so I'm always thinknig of disney...that's just it...my sons father calls me a dork...says I love mickey mouse more than him..I said heck yea I do...and can you give me some more money so we can go see him again!! lol

I think I talk to someone every day about disney..I don't know how that happens..but it does...

Everytime I see something with Mickey/Minnie/Cars I want to buy...

I actually like watching Disney Channel all day...and why is Phineas and Ferb my favorite cartoon!

I try to do anything Disney related: go to see disney movies...going to see Mary Poppins live in June 2010...etc etc..

My mother is just as addicted...and so is her husband.

I thought this was an addiction only I had....glad to see there are other addicts out there too :cool1:

The top 10 sums it up for me. However I have several others:

Entire Disney scrapbooks are completed (3 of resorts, one of Disney cruise) before finishing any of my kids albums!!!:)

Planning my next trip before I have even left the resort to go home.

Threatening my hubby that if he should lose his job (god forbid) we are selling our house in MA and moving to FL just to be closer to the mouse.

Trying to figure out a way to go there several times a year, even though we can't afford it!!!!

I knew I was a Disney addict our last trip- 3 days in and I was already planning the trip for the following year. We leave in 2 days and I am already trying to decide if we go in Oct 2010 for DD's birthday or if we go again in Dec 2010. Wish we could do both trips but she can only miss 5 days for school.
