Top 10 Signs You Are Addicted to Disney aka You Know You Need Help When...

Wow I'm really not alone...

I was just thinking today if there was any help for "disneyholic"...

I am too just been back a month from my Disney "pelerinage", 1 day BC, 10 days POR, 3 days Disney Vero Beach, 7 nights disney cruise, and a little stop at Disney HHI ont the way back home...and I thougth after that I'm fine for a while....and here I am, thinking night and day about how to convince my husband to go back this winter with the new super deal 4/3...:guilty:

And yesterday I was looking for any RN jobs ont the disney site...

so yes, I guess I understand you...
Ha! I look for RN jobs too! I've even looked to see if any of the Orlando area hospitals are hiring..I've seen quite a few notices in nursing mags, but I'm not sure I'd actually do it at this point in my life...when I'm older, sure. Most of my family is here in New England, and I'm close to my family, so I'll just do my annual trips for now.

I just can't read all of them but this one is really cute!!

#? Every time I say "Patrick I want..." to my DBF he responds with "to go to Disney World, I know Kate"

I can add that I've known I'm Disney-obsessed for MANY years, ever since my young daughter (now age 12) started begging me to PLEASE stop talking about Disney so much!!

Also, I automatically smile and LOVE owners of cars I pass with WDW stickers/antennae toppers/license plate frames/etc. when I pass them on the road at home ... :car:

Another sign...when you play the music to "Wishes", "Fantasmic", and "Spectromagic" in the car.

# Before you leave orlando you have a basic idea of the next time you'll be there.

# Your scrapbooking group wonders if you have extended family that doesn't include mice, ducks and royalty

# You have wondered (even jokingly) if it was possible to just sign your paycheck right over to Disney lol

# You have a permantly packed Disney vacation bag.

# You carry your annual pass right next to your driver's license at all times.

# You use Disney resort bar soap in your home bathroom just to feel "at home".

# They know you by name at The Disney Store

# Your dog owns Disney souveniers

:thumbsup2 Loving this thread!!

#- all of the movies on your Ipod are disney movies
#- you have a playlist on your Ipod that is nothing but songs from Disney movies and shows.
#- you plan your honeymoon for a land and sea trip a year from now but that is too far away so you plan a weekend trip to get a "disney fix"

I have been a disneyholic for many years and it is one habit i never want to kick. All of these posts show me that i am not alone, I just remembered one more you have the disney Scene It 1st and 2nd editions and NO ONE in your family will play them with you b/c you always win. :yay:

Wow I'm really not alone...

And yesterday I was looking for any RN jobs ont the disney site...

so yes, I guess I understand you...

OMG, me too. I keep thinking there has to be some type of RN position in the world!

I love this! I'm currently going to college for Arts Administration and am trying to figure out how to convince Disney to hire me when I graduate!

Yes, I am also addicted to WDW and to the DisBoards.......

...When DH calls my cell phone...it plays the Mickey Mouse Club theme song!

....When my son calls my cell phone it play Goofy's voice!

...At work I have the Disboards constantly downsized on my computer.

This is me to a tee! I have all the Disney ring tones and change them often:thumbsup2

You are looking for a house near Disney....because you want to retire here and become a scuba diver at the park.

Yes they are always looking for scuba people!!!!!:rotfl:

hummmm....I will have a house paid off in 15 years.......can I justify this.....you betcha!!!

I'M VERY MUCH AFRAID!

We are going for the very first time in February. So I haven't even been yet and I'm already exhibiting many of the same rituals and behaviors that everyone is describing.....This is HILARIOUS!

Last night our son came to our bed and said he had had a bad dream. He crawled into bed with us and I told him to think of the very best thing he could think of so the bad dream would go away. Guess what we talked about? Our favorite ride at Walt Disney World. Our favorite snack at Walt Disney World. Our favorite show at Walt Disney World. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Yep, we're addicted!

I can relate to all of these.
My mom said that for our next vacation we need to go somewhere else, she said (gasp) "that the whole Disney thing is getting old isn't it?". Um nope, we just planned another trip (only been back 2 weeks.) Mom has only been to DTD to eat when her work went down there so she doesn't like it.:scared1:
Dh said we weren't going next year since we went twice this year and what did he book last night. Anyone, Anyone. Yep a trip home in May.:cool1: :wizard:  He was all checking out allears and the menu's (he has never looked at them before.)

LOL :rotfl2: ,we were talking about our trip for 2010!,yes we are there March of this comining year, and here we are already planning for 2010.But we were talking about getting a new car this summer and said well maybe we should just drive to DL Instead(we Live up In the NW) and at the time (just a note my DS did suggest that is it a must to have a car compare to missing out on our annual trip!),and at the time It made sense, but later on I am trying how to do the car and WDW,there must be a way:rotfl2:.I am not worry planning WDW trips Is what I am good at:rotfl: :teacher: yes we are addicted

So my husband and I did the bounceback for free dining in Sept. We went with AKL for 6 nights. You know when you are addicted when you look at the 4/3 deal for May and June and think that you absolutely have to figure a way to go then. I mean it just might be against the law not to. You sit at work scheming on how the baby (who is 13 months) just has to go in May because in September his grandmother is going to go and so he needs to go with just Mommy and Daddy.

Then you sit 9 months 1 week a 1 day in advance and refuse to accept phone calls from your mother that don't begin with, We have 9 months 1 week and 1 day until Disney.

Buying a condo near Disney World seems like a good idea when we don't own a house here.
