I have heard a couple things about Toontown and want to know what is what.

1. When the park opens, get right on the train and go to Toontown, the characters are there and you can get autographs and pictures with no waiting.

2. Toontown opens later than the rest of the park and number one doesn't work because of that.

It is DS5's first time at Disney and we want him to experience the best of Disney. Another reason why we are going at the end of the month will less crowds.

Thanks

when i went (nov 2004) MK opened at 9AM, but Toontown didn't open until 10AM. the times were listed on the Park Map. hope it's different at other times of the year. sorry!

We always hit Fantasyland soon as the park opens and then hit toontown...never waited more than 15 minutes for any character including Mickey...That should be your plan if you have little ones....Fantasyland has the kid rides and lines build fast....especially Dumbo do that 1st

We were there early November. MK opened at 9:00 and we made it to Toontown at about 11:00. By then the character lines were a little long. I waited about 25 minutes for a picture with Pluto behind Minnie's house and about 40 minutes to see Mickey. But truth be told, I would have waited longer than that if needed. Toontown is a great place to meet the characters as it's more organized than other character areas, i.e., breakfasts.

Your going to want to hit it first thing in the morning or during the parades or late in the evening right before close.
