Toontown Morning Madness: to go or not to go?

I just love that valuable time right after park opens to get to ride everything quickly in Fantasyland. I did the TTMM once before with just my daughter. It was nice, but we barely made it in time walking briskly from the opening all the way to the back. Cute show, but is it worth it to miss the walk-on rides in FL??

What to do!

I know that there is a thread of people wanting the vouchers if you do not use them. Are they transferable? Usable after the date has passed for our tickets?

My son is really into Toontown.com, and I know that DL's toontown is not the same, but it does have a lot in common. He would enjoy looking around there without a crowd; but is it too crowded during the rest of the day?

What about on an early entry morning? We get in at 9, the park opens at 10 - - is the TTMM at 10 then? Would it be worth it to go over there at that time and give up that hour? Or do I need to try and do Nemo during that time? (never done Nemo)

Thanks for advice!

MTTMM is Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat. So the only MM day it shares is Saturday. I wouldn't leave a MM at park opening to head to Toontown, but I'd do it on one of the other days. We will be doing it on a Mon or Wed (day 4 or 6 of our trip) after we've had a few days and a MM to do FL to our hearts content.

The tickets so have expiration dates, but they aren't associated with your trip. The ones we have are good through January 2010. If you'd like to pass them on if you don't use them, no problem. I actually got one from someone on another board for my mom (who didn't get one since she just bought a ticket). People also sell them on ebay.

I personally wouldn't do MM and TTMM in the same day unless you really had to. For us, it takes away from the specialness of each in some way...and makes the day too hectic. That's just me.

Since the Morning Madness activities don't really start until 20 or so minutes after (or they shouldn't) it's odd that you nearly missed it! They delay it so that doesn't happen, b/c they know everyone is at the front gates. Hmm.

We did it once...unless we have another small child join our family in the future, we probably won't do it again.

And yes you get vouchers with a separate expiration date, and you can give them to others if you don't wish to go.
