So there, I was sitting in my main VMK room, when one of my "friends" shows up and demonstrates a unique bug in the game:

FYI, the original is sitting in the gold seat.

I am simultaneously amazed and creeped out by it. Obviously it's a bug, or so I've been told, but I wonder if it's allowed in the game? Since it was a bug, I didn't bother reporting it.

But you know what? It's just a kid behind it all.

ive had my friends dress up exactly like PrincessKatia to like freak me out and then there are strangers who dress like PrincessKatia and im like weirded out lol thats why my hair is now red

i know how to do it

you use the pirate costume mfagic (haven't tried with other magic) and then come back into the room
as the magic is still going on there will be 2 of you (if you have alot of pirate pins you can get alot of them)

AdioSkater was doing this last night and it's really cool, but I couldn't get it to work for me Don't know what I am doing wrong. I activated my pirate magic, then left the room (to the map) and then came back in. There was still just one of me - no sparkles, magic or anything. ARG!

It's funny you mention how it's done. From the way you describe it, it's kinda like that villain from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command who can duplicate himself at will. Disturbingly amusing.

I am almost tempted to try this, but I fear I may get zapped again by the admins.

you don't see your clone but others see it

Seems to work better in some rooms than others. Also sometimes the clones gradually disappear. It does work well in Central Plaza, The music room and Monorail clones dissapeared. My favorite was at Treasure Island I had one guest really wondering..just staring. had five clone scattered and then I tryed to clone one while walking into the storm the whole room crashed and all were booted but me. LOL. I had another character in to monitor the situation so I know it crashed for all.

if you have all the clones you can have (6 in a guest room) then use storm everyone gets errored but you
that is also hard because when i try cloning my storm pin is next to my pirate pin

I cloned myself in queenliz's room. Logged out shortly after and my clone remained in her room all night long! She was the only one who could see me!

Is six a new maximum number for guest rooms? I see many more in pictures but only tried this in a guest room today and that is it only 6. I'm wondering if this is something they did to get it under control, or if 6 is a maximum for all places? By the way, with Storm I've always noticed the storm spell makes the game unstable but maybe it is only because of the cloning.

yes cloning takes up the memory of the game and when the cursed storm pin goes then the game becomes unstable and everyone gets errored but the person who used the spell (which is very often for when im cloning and there are alot of clones in there but i like to make them do that if there are alot of clones)
