Toon Town Closed?

Someone told me that toon town was already closed? Had walls up and stuff? Is this true?
With the news about the ride closures starting in January for over a year it makes me wonder (If Toon Town isn't closed) where are they building Star Wars Land?

Star Wars land will be taking over what is currently Big Thunder Ranch, it is not going where Toon Town is. As far as I know, Toon Town is not boarded up.

Disney made a point of saying that Toon Town is NOT where Star Wars land is going. And it's not closed. Disney just announced they will be having Halloween preparty activities in Toon Town.

Nope, it's still open. I have a friend who is there and they went to Mickeys house yesterday.

Oh good....I had read it was closing for Star Wars too.
Glad it isn't. DGD will have her first trip in Dec. and I want her to experience it!
