Took VIP tour yesterday LOTS of new INFO!

my thought is this.....since they are stopping the tours on the holidays maybe they are letting people do the holiday quest instead, dunno just a thought

I am impressed that you were able to take the tour at all. We were just there from the 8th-11th and were told absolutely NO MORE TOURS! That said, I think I got screwed with the tour thing. We went the first day we got there and got a CM who was dumber than a doornail! She first told us no tours period. Then I showed her my two PDF Hidden Mickey Quests printouts and she said that I could try to take it to City Hall but she doubted they would have any tours, I told her I did not want one for that day, but for another day, she still said the same thing.

Then we started to redeem our quests and she insisted that the pirate quests cards were ONE PER FAMILY! I told her that it was one per ticket(as my two girls watched with sad faces) but she insisted otherwise. Then she went on to say that they hardly had any pirate quests cards left and that it was strictly one per family. I was totally disgusted at this point. Finally she gave in and gave us two sets (I did not get one). I gave her three tent code coupons and she would only give me ONE tent code, finally gave in and gave us a second.

Then she literally took my hidden micky pdfs from my hands and redeemed them for gold collection cards instead. I wanted them back but she refused. So now I had no way to try taking them to City Hall to get a tour. It was awful.

As for the news, we did go back on the other days and I did in fact see two of the new cards: A Mickey Snowman and a Nutcracker! Very cute. They thought they might come out today but were not sure and they were also not sure as to how they would be redeemed.

Welcome Back from your trip, sorry to hear the disappointment about that CM. My suggestion to you is to call Guest Relations 407-824-4321 about your problems with the CM. VMK was built to pull us to the parks and make older kids enjoy Magic Kingdom. This CM obviously was not in the Mickey Holiday Spirit she should be. Hopefully, Guest Relations can get you what you should have received in person. Good Luck!

LOL! Do you mean that we met? I was the blonde all by myself. My nametag said Chris. You weren't with the families from AZ. Hmm, were you Dianna? Were you the blonde with the guy who fell asleep during the Pirates ride?
The girl in the red shirt with the long curly brown hair said her name was SillyParsley in the game, so I'm betting you were the the other blonde. How did we miss meeting? I talked with everyone else on the tour at length. Oh my!

my brother was the one sleeping on the pirates. he was so tired! now i am wishing i went this week instead so i could get the prizes for the holiday quest!! i was trying to be inconspicious because i had been on the tour the day beofre with the same tour guide so i was trying hard to blend in. my brother was not with me that other day, so yeah. i was trying to be quiet and un notice-able! too funny!
