In March we took our first ever Disney Cruise. Afterwards we had an entire day free due to airline scheduling.
We thought about going into a park, but we didn't feel like paying hundreds of dollars to fight massive crowds.
So instead we decided on a very unique challenge. To set foot in all the Disney theme parks and resorts accessible by Disney Transportation. We like seeing new resorts, but typically don't have time or energy to do it during a busy WDW vacation. Originally we told the kids we weren't even going to eat and so we called it our "WDW Hunger Games Tour".
From any park you can get a bus to any hotel, from any hotel you can get a bus to any park, so we worked this way until we saw everything.
Here is a short montage video of our day showing us at every resort and every park. 26 in all.

So we started early at Downtown Disney and parked our rental car. From Downtown Disney we just caught the very first bus for a resort, Old Key West. From there we went to Hollywood Studios, then took a boat to see the EPCOT resorts and so on.
BTW, you know you've been to WDW too many times when you tell the kids they won't be going into the parks and they don't complain at all, not even a little bit.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has done something like this?
