And thought it was excellent. I'd seen several posts lately asking about it, and I wanted to post that I felt it was worth the money, very informative, and just plain fun! Our guide was Jason.

By the time we hit the Utilidors, though, I was tired of walking/standing (and I was fighting a terrible cold)....so I didn't enjoy that part as much as I thought I would. But it was so neat to hear all the little things that go into a 'magical experience' everyday at MK. Definitely worth the $60. We rode Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion.

Glad you enjoy the tour .I did this one last summer and thougt it great! I went on 3 rides and the lunch and all the information was good. :cool1:

What time was your tour? Did you have to stand in the regular lines for the rides? Did you see where they keep the parade stuff? Did they have a spot for your bags etc. or do I have to rent a locker? I booked this tour for April with my mom. I can't wait!

For my tour, some of the rides had seperate lines such as the Jungle cruise .We went on the boat as a group. For haunted mansion we were in the regular line i think but stayed as a group. We also went into it through the service door or Cm entrance. We were able to see where the parade floats were kept. :wizard:

We loved this tour when we were on it. We wished more time was spent in the Utilidors though. We thought it was great to get an in depth background of some of the little things at MK.

Jason is great. We did not have him but everytime Jason's group was near ours, my DS and I would switch channels on the voice receiver thingy and listen to him.

We started at 9:30, were done by 2:30. We didn't stand in regular lines for jungle cruise, entered HM by a CM entrance, then filed in with the regulars into the stretching room...although our guide told us to wait till everyone exited so he could tell us the secrets of the stretching part. We didn't ride Pirates, but he told us lots about it.

We went backstage back by Splash Mountain, saw the floats and several CM's costumed as Country Bears (with their heads exposed...rather funny-looking). We also went backstage behind Main Street on both sides.

There was no spot for bags...you'll need a locker for that, although I carried a small bag.

Although there was lots of walking, they give you lots of restroom breaks and the lunch was leisurely. We took two sitting breaks while the guide talked Disney lore. They give you a small earpiece to wear so you can hear the guide all the time.

Now I'm anxious to try all the tours! Have fun!

Yeah...he's a stitch. His history with disney is facinating...started out working at the Land as an intern doing plant biology, then auditioned for 'face' characters (chosen for 'Prince') but ended up doing Guest Relations/tours. He's actually only doing a few more tours, then heading back to school. He's a scientist at heart. :teacher:
