Took a pic of Luna Park Clown in Australia?

Kind of weird but have been in Australia the last 3 weeks with DW visiting DD (at college) and noticed this clown while at Sydney. Never did track down any of the DVC trades in the area-just got too busy. What a great country to see though-added a few extra pics-hope the mods dont mind.

so the boardwalk clown is based on the Australian clown? I had no idea! or is it just a coincidence? What gorgeous pictures! thank you so much for posting them... the sea photos are the best!

Great pictures!! I so want to go there. My DD that is 4.5 is a wiggles fan and keeps telling she wants to go where the Wiggles leave. I'll have to show here the pictures when she get home from preschool. Thanks for sharing.

The BWV clown is based on the clown from the Luna Park Steeplechase from Coney Island (in Brooklyn). Perhaps the one in Australia is as well, especially as it's named Luna Park (just like the one in Coney Island).

Your pictures are incredible! The clown, however, WOW! It brings back my childhood (and adult) fear of clowns!!
