Hey Guys, I'm kinda confused...

I'm 17 years old, and I STILL want to have a character dinner with Cinderella, Fairy Godmother, Prince Charming, and two mice, at the Cinderella's dinner at the Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare Cafe. Am I too old for this? I mean, the actors are basically college kids MY age and a little older at this point. Is this really weird that I still want to have character dinners? To me, it's just a truly magical Disney feeling...and I love it. One of my favorite parts of Disney is feeling like a little kid again. My parents asked me where I wanted to have my graduation dinner...I said in Cinderella's Castle. (Then we found out that we wouldn't eat any of the food so canned that idea.) But it's the whole atmosphere thing. What do you think? :guilty: :confused3

I would say it is never too old to want to eat with the characters! Hell, I still love getting my pictures taken with them! lol. However, I am a little edgy about eating with them lol. I would just feel out of place lol. I wish I could listen to myself when I say it is fine to eat with them, but I fear I'd be too embarrassed to be in a room full of 10 y/o and younger kids. Sort of like an adult in a high chair lol. I know we are going to eat at a buffet for breakfeast, either 1900 Park Fare or Chrystal Palace and I really wish I could feel as if 17 isn't too old. I am 17 myself and so I pray these next posts say it is okay 'cause there is no changing my family's plan to eat with characters! :rotfl2:

Yes it is nice...now if I could only get my sister to act like we came for HER to see the characters, I am home free! :rotfl2:

I say you could never be too old to love the characters. I'm 14 and I still love eating with the characters. My cousins also love it and they're 15 and 12. My brother and sister are both 9 and love it too. That's probably the only time they come in handy, to make it look like they've come for the characters :teeth:

Go if you want to! :thumbsup2

BTW - I'm over 30 y.o. but do have a DD who'll be 5 on our next trip so it won't look too bad for me sitting waiting for the princesses to get to our table! princess: :rotfl2:

I defy anyone who says 17 is too old for characters! :lmao:

Oh,I keep asking myself the same question!I'm going in the December, and I'll be 17 too..Since my birthday is in November,my parents asked me if I wanted something special at Disney...And I said that I wanted to have breakfast at Cinderella's Castle!I never did it before and I decided to go,so I think you should do the same!X )~

:offtopic:

This is Off topic but, my birthday is November 23rd!! LOL. I will be 18 though. But you are almost exactly a year younger than I. Sorry, I just like noticing small things like this haha.

I'm still a total kid at heart so I say you're never too old. :cool1: You're right Ash, it's part of the Disney magic!

Age doesnt matter!! Disney is Disney and its for everyone to enjoy!! If you wanna sit with Cinderella then you sit with Cinderella!

Im 15 and I still enjoy eating with the characters and I always will!! :goodvibes

I don't think you're too old! I'll be having my birthday breakfast with the princesses in January and I'll be turning 16.

You're never too old to have character dinners; it's something you almost have to do when you go! It helps that I have three younger siblings, and they enjoy it, but I think Mom couldn't stand it if she didn't have a dinner when Mickey comes to say hi. I think character dinners are for anyone!

I say go for it. I wen't to Chef Micky's for breakfast.

Although I have heard that the Character Meals arn't all they are cracked up to be.

Here's my opinion. First, you are NEVER too old to character dine. Second, it's convinient. If you like seeing the characters, get some greetings out of the way before you go to the park. Third, it's a resturant. As long as there's food, I'm good. I would really like to go to a character meal sometime.

NO Way I mean other peeps might think so but i absolutely love to eat with mie favorite characters and i dont care what ne1 says!!!
