(one of those people taking up those studios, well 2 of them actually, sorry) from 9/1 - 9/11. Maybe we'll see you there. We plan on swimming at both the pools

Oh I've got it! Just for the record, if anyone is allergic to sunscreen (as I found out I am on my Nov. '10 trip to WDW), buy Vanicream. It's pricey and it's thick when it's applied, but, it doesn't make me break out into hives when I use it!!!

Maybe I'll see you by the pool!! I plan on being there all morning until it becomes a little later. We'll have to have a fruity frozen drink together!

my brother keeps telling me i should do a solo trip..not sure i am up for it just yet..like to have some 1 around to see the parks and have fun with....sometimes being solo does of course have your own advantages as well....pick and choose what time u wanna eat, chill, sleep in and so on...ok now i'm sold maybe i should do one hmmmm

I have to say, i was nervous going into my solo Nov '10. It was for 8 days and I really thought that eventually I'd get bored or lonely. Neither ever happened!!! I ate where I wanted, drank where I wanted, slept when I wanted, and park hopped where I wanted!! It truly was awesome!!

that is what I hear from dis friends on here. it is a great experience they end up telling me. maybe something i would consider in the future. maybe if i met up with some friends from dis that would make things much easier.

Yeah the justification is soooo necessary to avoid buyers remorse....unless you have unlimited funds and well, i don't! I wanted one bad and then I was going to get one until my school told me that our e-Reader is not iPad compatible. BOOOOOO. Well, I guess enough people asked for it (it is an all online program!!) and they're changing eReaders!! WOO HOO!! Justification!!! And let me tell you, this this is awesome!!!!!

THERE WAS AN EARTHQUAKE IN NJ TODAY!!

Crazy right? It hit in VA and then traveled right up the eastern seaboard!! I'm sitting and lunch, and keep in mind, it's 1:30pm and all i had had for breakfast all day was 2 large dunkin donuts coffees. So I scarf down my food and all the sudden I'm like "I feel queezy" and the girl next to me just kept yapping. Then I go on FB and see everyone's news feeds blowing up about an earthquake! OK i'm not nuts. Good to know that I wasn't pre-seizure or something!!

Anyway, 11 days til my trip!! I got a new bathing suit in the mail today. i'm in love with the color but not in love with the color on me. Probably because it's not black. LOL. I may buy a black one too. We shall see. And I picked up my new prescription sunglasses today too! They're fabulous!! I got a pair of trial contacts from the eye doc while I was there so I'm gonna see if i can actually see out of them because i have an astigmatism and it's hard to find contacts for me. If these work out, I may try and find a cheap pair of aviators and see if i can rock that look Yup i'm a fashion hoooaaaaa

Everyone at my office felt the earthquake... except for me! But... I was feeling quite off and thinking it was my glasses - so maybe that was just the effect it had on me too! Crazy, huh?

I feel you on the swimsuit issue. But having three kids I have no choice but to live in my swimsuit during the summer. I just try not to look at my self in full length mirrors while I am wearing a swimsuit. I live on an island named Denial

The kind my doctor gave me was Accuvue Advance for Astigmatism. I haven't tried them yet but i'll let you know how they work!

Earthquake on Tuesday, Hurricane by Sunday. Just another typical Jersey week. Boooooooo. As we "brace" for Hurricane Irene up here, I can't help but laugh. We got FEETS of snow dumped on us this winter. FEETS!!! Yes that's a word. It is now at least. Anyway, everyone's all in a panic. A PANIC. It's NJ people. We're expecting some pretty strong winds, but, no need to panic. The stores are going nuts.

Anyway, today is the 9 day mark!! 9 DAYS!!!! The early weather forecast for Florida says RAIN. NOOOOOOOO. Do your non rain dance people. It looks something like this

7 days from RIGHT THIS MOMENT I'll be, most likely, on the Magical Express arriving at the AKL!!!

But, for now, we brace for Hurricane Irene's arrival in NJ. I'm not prepared, I dont have any water. What I do have is a whole lotta peanut butter, jelly, cereal (but no milk. I dont even eat cereal!) and cat food. I live in an area that floods big time. Several river systems and branches of it that over flow with a regular rain storm, let alone a hurricane. Those rivers are already at capacity so we're gonna get floods. My condo doesn't/shouldn't have any problems, it's everything around me though.

If you're in NJ, stay safe!! Be prepared, but don't panic (as the media has most of us doing). If you need to leave, leave!! Take your fur babies to a shelter, they're allowed!!! Good luck!!

Well, it's 6 days!! Less than one week!! Woo hoo!!!!

Hurricane Irene has come, is still lingering a bit, but mostly gone. The winds are picking up again as we get some of the outer bands coming back around, but, I never lost power and my couldesac looks good! Lots of people around me have no power and are flooded so I'm very lucky.
