#1 What do I pack?
What do you usually take on vacation? Bring that plus lots of sunscreen and some ponchos! There are great packing lists on this site (just search for them) and on mousesavers.com
#2 How will the weather be?
#3 Port Orleans Riverside--- What are the pool hours? The main pool is usually open 8 AM to 10 PM. The quiet pools are often open later.
#4 How much does a resort mug cost? about $14
#5 My 1st day in Disney World we will be going to the Coral reef restaurant where should we sit?, you can ask to sit by the tank, but they will seat you whereever there is availability and arriving at 12 noon what should we do 1st in Epcot? get a fastpass for an attraction you really want to see
#5 how much do the make your own mickey hats cost?
#6 How much does Fast pass cost? free
#7 Does 1 TS meal 1 QS meal and 1 snack fill you up for the day?
#8 Im traveling on Amtrack what should we expect?

#10 how often do the buses run? approximately every 20 minutes

I don't know the answers to all of your questions, but I hope I got you started.

1- bring a mixture of clothing to layer, shorts ,swimsuits and sunscreen is a must
2-Check the 10 day forecast for Orlando to give you a rough idea, I will warn you all weather is possible in March.
3-Main pool is open till 10p
4-about $14
5-you can make a request but at the restaurants and esp Coral Reef they will seat you where they can, the restaurants are not huge and they pack the guests in

6-Fastpass is free, if unsure how it works you really need to look up the FAQ on the themepark boards
7-for us we were more than full.We had left over credits
8-no idea
9-depends on the book..anywhere from $10
10- about every 20 mins, but your wait can be longer if the bus you want is full and bear in mind POR is a large resort and lots of guests rely on the busses
Don't know the answer to the rest

#7 Does 1 TS meal 1 QS meal and 1 snack fill you up for the day?
I think it does, yes. A lot of times I don't even end up eating my snack. You can get something for breakfast with your snack credit.

#8 Im traveling on Amtrack what should we expect?
From where? Are you taking the AutoTrain, or just a regular train? Will it be overnight? If so, do you have a room or sleeping coach?

#10 how often do the buses run?
Every 20 minutes or so.

#12 Hollywood and Vine-- Is it all you can eat buffet?
Yes. Here is a link to info on the restaurant: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=140

Don't mean to sound rude - but there is a search engine on this website where you could have the answers to the majority of your questions with just a little bit of time spent on your part. I've had many of the same questions and with simple searches I have found more than enough information to satisfy. There are FAQ threads for the resorts, for the restaurants, heck, for just about anything. Give it a shot and good luck!

#1 What do I pack?

A little bit of everything. Definitely one pair of jeans or pants, a jacket or sweatshirt, a swimsuit, etc... It can be cool in the morning and evening, but nice sun will be warm.

#2 How will the weather be?

It can vary. Check a couple of days before you leave.

#3 Port Orleans Riverside--- What are the pool hours?

Sorry, never stayed there, but have friends that love it.

#4 How much does a resort mug cost?

Never bought one, sorry!

#5 My 1st day in Disney World we will be going to the Coral reef restaurant where should we sit?, and arriving at 12 noon what should we do 1st in Epcot?

Get fastpasses for Soarin' if available! Or Test Track if not. Stay for Illuminations, it's beautiful!

#5 how much do the make your own mickey hats cost?

Don't know - never bought one.

#6 How much does Fast pass cost?

Nothing.

#7 Does 1 TS meal 1 QS meal and 1 snack fill you up for the day?

For us, yes it did! We do a light breakfast in room, not big breakfast eaters. Check out the menus on www.allears.net ahead of time.

#8 Im traveling on Amtrack what should we expect?

We come from Baltimore, so flying is actually the cheapest option for us. Did you look into Airtran?

#9 how much do autograph books cost?

We've never bothered with them. I think waiting in a long line for a photo or autograph is boring to me and my kids - they don't have the patience (but I have an ADHD, very severe, son so we even get him a special card for help sometimes, he also has health issues). So, if there is a character and no line, we'll take a photo. Long line, we skip.

#10 how often do the buses run?

ditto - but it can vary! If in a hurry to get from a resort somewhere, you can take a cab often for about $10 or $15 so that sometimes happens with us.

#11 Im eating at Tuskers house How is the food?

Wonderful! Something for everyone! We had dinner at the new buffet there and loved it!

#12 Hollywood and Vine-- Is it all you can eat buffet?

I think so - we didn't care so much for it.

#13 For 3 girls ages 10 and 9 and 6 what kind of in room celebration do you recommend?

First trip, everything will be magic. Maybe pack some little things like tee shirts from the Disney store, or check out the Dollar Tree, they have Disney stuff sometimes. You won't be in the room too much! For a 6 year old, you may want a stroller. We did - it's a lot of walking. Rentals at the parks are expensive, so we always brought our old one from home until my youngest was 7.

Any suggestions???????

Definitely get to the parks early, and pick out which attractions you want to get fastpasses for ahead of time. Get a good guidebook and study it - may be good reading on the way down. Not the "official" one, but an unofficial one. Passporters are good, as well as the other "unofficial" one. Have fun!

I think you have most of your ?'s answed but I just wanted to say "hi"! We will be there Feb 28-March 5:cheer2:

I have been checking weather.com. They have a month view with averages. Average high that week is 75 and low is around 60, I believe. We are packing clothing that we can layer.

We just got back and although most of your questions were answered, my only suggestion would be to skip Coral Reef. We were seated far from the tank, our service was horrible, and the food wasn't great either. We had an ADR but it was still a wait and it was a disappointment. Maybe others have had better experiences, but I wouldn't go there again.
Oh - and if your clothes get wet (it rained a lot when we were there) take the time to put them in the dryer at night. Probably common sense to you Floridians, but we are from Nevada and we kept thinking that stuff would just dry eventually. It didn't! :rotfl: We had lots of stinky damp laundry at the end of our trip!
