Too Many for the GAC Card

Hi all

I was hoping for some Advice from you all. We are going down in Oct, I plan on getting the GAC card for my daughter again (LIFE SAVER for us all) This time around my Aunt and Hubby want to meet up with us for just 1 day.. Now with the 2 of them will make a total of 7of us in my group, Any tips on how not to make them feel left out, I know I cant pull them threw the Fast pass line, or what ever entrance we have to wait in because the card I belive only goes up to 6 people.. So what are your tips for having more than the allowed on the GAC card and our group stayin together (Boy am I glad they are only coming for 1/2 to 1 day) Get them fastpasses? and then we all go in when there time is up? Would that work? Etc.... BTW if it helps we are planning on the day at Epcot that day.. Thanks again all

On Fast Pass attractions you can all get FP's for the same time.

As for not feeling left out. On most rides you would have to split up to ride anyway as you won't all fit, so it may not be such a big difference.

Having traveled with a group of 8 before, I'd say that even without any special needs, it's often hard to keep a group that large together all the time anyway.
Since you are going to Epcot that day, you may find that walking around the countries is the best place to stay together. The movies and shows there (except fot the Norway ride at certain times) are not usually so busy that your party would not be able to stay together. For the FW areas, all getting fastpasses would work and since the wait for fastpass holders once you return is not that long, you may find that you don't need to use the GAC that often (maybe not at all).

We arrive in two weeks, my 5 year old son is in a wheel chair. Can you tell me what a GAC is, it sounds like it could be great help.

also i read something about fanmisters that attached to strollers, are they good for wheel chairs? and do the rain ponchos cover small wheelchairs? will it rain in August? I am so excited about our holiday!

GAC is a Guest Assistance Card, which is basically a way to let CMs know about what sorts of assistance people need when they have invisible disabilities. A GAC is not menat to (and usually won't) shorten your wait in line, but may give a more appropriate place to wiat, based on the needs of the person with a disability. Using a wheelchair or ecv (electric scooter) will allow you to have access to the accessible entrances. Most rides do have accessible lines (called Mainstream lines) where everyone waits in the same lines. Some rides have people with wheelchairs/disabilities board at the exit, usually after waiting in the regular line until almost before boarding.
If just having an accessible entrance meets your needs, then you don't need a GAC. If there are other needs that are not taken care of by just having wheelchair access, then a GAC would be helpful. You can request a GAC at Guest Services at any of the parks. Bring your son and explain your needs to the CM. GACS have different instructions stamped on them based on what needs are identified. If one is issued, you will be asked to use fastpass as much as possible. The GAC will be good for your entire stay at all the parks (you don't need to get a new one each day or each park).

Whether you can attach a fan/mister depends a lot on your child's wheelchair. We never could find an upright post in a good spot to attach anything.
It will rain in August. We have used a rain poncho on DD's wheelchair. Just put it on the child as usual and drape it over the back. A small child one worked well when she had a little child's chair. I think last March, we used a child's one as well on her narrow adult chair. The size you need sort of depends on the size/configuration of his chair. An adult poncho might be too long for some kids chairs and a child poncho might be too small to cover a larger chair.
