This will be my fifth trip to Disney World, but the first for my four year old grand daughter and her Mom. We will be there for a week and have too many ADR's. And :mickeybar more that I want to add. So which ones do you think I should change? Thanks

Here is what we have: Saturday Coral Reef at 7:00
Sunday Tony's Town Square 5:00
Monday Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic pkg) 4:10
Tuesday Crystal Palace 8:10am and CRT 2:00
Wednesday Akerhus 1:00 and Chef Mickeys 6:40
Thursday Boma 6:00
I would really like to try the new Yak and Yeti and the Tusker House Buffet. My grand daughter is doing BBB so we want to get in the Princess meals. I want to do CP so we can get into the park early for pictures with not many other people in the background.
I am open to suggestions.
PS we will be there the second week of December. Thanks, Pam

Could you perhaps try to move your CRT ADR to breakfast and cancel CP so that you can still enter the park early? I know, CRT is hard to get for breakfast, but there may be a cancellation. Hope you have a great time...

Since you are taking a 4 yr old, I would keep all of the character meals and Fantasmic and drop Tony's, Coral Reef and Boma. Of course, it would be great to keep them all but if you feel overbooked I would say the character meals are the most important to keep. They help you take care of two things at once - a meal and character pics and autographs which means less standing in line.

Good luck no matter what you decide!

I would keep Coral Reef just because our 4yr old son thought it was the best and all of us loved the setting. I would drop Tony's and maybe Akerhus since you are eating at Chef Mickey's that night. I would maybe drop Boma too.

Good Luck!!!:goodvibes

I would dump Mama Melrose, the food is so blah and you dont get bread with your meal...so un ITALIAN!!!!

Considering you are traveling with a 4 year old, the one I would get rid of is Boma. Both of my children enjoy Coral Reef, CP, and Chef Mickey. I thought Hollywood and Vine was good too. A girl needs her princesses so you have to keep CRT and Akerhus.

Maybe get rid of Tony's too? I have never been but my in-laws have and they did not enjoy either the food or the service. We are trying MM for the first time in a few weeks so I don't know much about that one.

You are going to get a different opinion from everyone since we all have different tastes and experiences. Check out the menus on-line and go with your gut!

Just an opinion...I wouldn't do two major character meals in one day. I'd do either Crystal Palace or Cinderella's for lunch and give my 4 year old granddaughter breakfast in the room. (or grab something like fruit, yogurt and/or oatmeal bars from the resort to munch on in the morning as we go) The kids are too excited to eat much anyway.

Thanks for your help. Boma is MY favorite, so I can't drop that!!! The reason we are doing CRT for lunch is she will be doing BBB at noon, then it's off to the castle. Tony's is one that my daughter in law picked, so I hate to not go there. We will give it a try. But I think I will give up Hollywood and Vine. I wanted it for the Fantasmic pkg but we shouldn't have any trouble seeing that anyway. What ever we decide, I think it will be great fun. Thanks again, Pam

FWIW, we loved Akershus. We had wonderful food and great attention from the princesses. DD7 had a ball. I think dropping the fantasmic package is a good idea. We couldn't get one for our trip (started calling at 180+10 and they were ALL booked for large parties for Star Wars weeks before that). Anyway, it still turned out fine even in June.

I don't know about the days you've got two character meals in the same day. Not only will you all be on character overload :lmao: , but it's a LOT of food for one day. I can't tell you which ones to pick for your group, but I would cancel one of them on each of those two days.

Or you could use this as an excuse to book a longer trip. :thumbsup2
