Too late to register for half?

I know somebody (unfortunately, not me) who wants to register for the WDW Half Marathon. Is it too late? Is there a waiting list, in case of cancellations?

(Sorry, I don't know much about this, but I told her I'd try to get her information).

Well, yes and no. The half is closed to individuals. But, there are several charities that have opportunities available. I did the half last year with Team in Training and had a wonderful experience.
