Too Late to Dine?

I apologize if this has already been discussed. I searched and couldn't find an answer. I was able to make a dining reservtion for 50's Prime Cafe on Dec. 14th at 8:00 pm. The park hours for that day are 9:00am-8:00pm. How does that work.....Dining reservations when park is closing?

I've had that happen before, it was just very quiet on the way out, lol. Actually made for some nice pictures as there were still some photo-passers out there.

so the restaraunt will stay open and not rush us?

Yeah, there's no rush to leave if the park has closed Disney would never rush you out of a restaurant or park

They will not rush you out of the restaurant.

Once you leave the restaurant, you will not be "pushed" out of the Park. However, there will be a couple of CMs making sure that you do not go any deeper into the Park and head toward the exits.

Depending on both you and the CMs following (escorting) you may, if you so desire, have a conversation with them.

(I have been on both sides of this. I have been Last Guest out of Epcot, but also last year when working at DHS I was a "Guest Sweeper" a couple of times.)

We just did this last month, HS closed at 8:00 and our 50s PT ADR was at 8:00. Our server was great, he didn't rush us at all. He even sat down at the end of the meal and talked with us for quite awhile. We were his last table of the evening. He was so great I even emailed WDW about him. We walked out and there were more people around than I expected. Tons of people taking pictures and shopping.
