We are leaving to WDW in the middle of June. We still haven't made dinner reservations. We already have our schedual & where we're going to be & what resturants we want to eat at. I think its too late for our restervations, but i want to know if we should have back-up plans, or would you recommend being flexible for the times? Also: What phone # do you call? and what times can you call? thanks so much :)

I made our ADRs for June about 3 weeks ago when we booked our trip. I was finally able to get CRT two days ago, so don't give up hope!

Here is what I did. I made a list of which parks were my first choice for each day, along with my 2nd choice for each day of our visit.

I then made a list of my priorities. Mine were, a princess meal, a mickey meal and a pirate cruise. If you can be flexible about what you need and when, you will have a lot better luck.

On my first call, we got Akershus princess breakfast on the day I wanted, Garden Grill on the day we wanted and tha pirate cruise on the day I wanted.

I would have preferred CRT so I kept calling back. I was finally able to get that 2 days ago and I also added a breakfast at Ohana.

I think that it helps to be specific about what you want, as it helps the CM help you, BUT be flexible and ask for alternatives. Keep a park map handy if you are not familiar with the park so that you can tell if a choice will work for you.

I have called about 10 times for our June trip. Some CMs were wonderful, amazing and so helpful. Others were very matter-of-fact, just doing the booking, not especially special. Make the reservations that you can, look at what you've got, re-plan and call again.

You need to call ASAP but you can still get ADRs, including some of the very popular ones.

The phone number is 1-800-WDW-DINE.

You can call at any time from what I understand.

I am leaving on Thursday and I made my ADR's about 2 weeks ago. I got everything I wanted at decent times (between 4:30 and 6:30). My advice is to call and see what is available and go to plan B if needed.

Good luck!

Absolutely do NOT give up!
We were just there April 19-26-- a school vacation week.
I was able to get reservations at Nine Dragons and Tusker house-- one for lunch, one dinner-- while we were on property. I was able to be flexible for times due to the fact that my kids are 18 and 15 and do not need to eat at any specific times.

Good luck!!!

Call right now and try. Don't waste time asking our opinion; call Disney and find out.

Good luck!!!

While you may be to late for the most popular meals (Chef Mickeys, 50's cafe, Etc) you should not have an issue with most of the restuarants. I would say you would need to be flexible with dining times and maybe even days, but you should be able to get ADRs still

THanks so much everyone! we tried today and got all our restervations :0 even though some times are a bit late 8 p.m. we don't mind. that just means we get a snack :)

We are going June 1-11 and upgraded to DxDP right before our final payment (45 days out on April 17). We had a LOT of extra ADR's to make & I'm VERY pleased with all of them. Of course I kept the hard to get ones like CM for dinner, etc. Didn't get CRT at all, but that's okay, we've had dinner there before and my kids are okay with not eating there. They actually prefer Crystal Palace & we've got that.

It's never too late to make reservations- I got Crystal Palace b-fast, 8:05am the day before! There's always cancellations for the best times, so just keep trying!!

Last week while we were in WDW, twice I went down to the front desk at got ADR's for the Concord Steak House and the next day got 50's PT. So like everyone said it's never to late.

Good Luck

I like how the exchange for Disney World is 939 so it spells WDW, but why is their hotel reservations number 407-939-7675? All that spells is 407-WDW-PORK!

There is a 800 number for Disney Dining and it is 800-711-4344. I just used it yesterday, toll free.

Just got back yesterday, another note of encouragement to keep trying. I planned a few "free" nights in our original schedule but decided as the week went on that deciding where to eat was time consuming and crazy making. I called on my cell phone from the people mover and was given 4 or 5 options for the Magic Kingdom that night.
