Too hot to wear robes right now?

Packing today and I'm debating bringing my kids' Harry Potter robes. They are both fleece and while I know they would make great photo opportunities, I'm wondering if it's too hot to wear them right now?

It's going to be too hot to wear robes until next winter. It's in the 80s this week but it feels warmer. My car thermometer said 86 yesterday afternoon.

You should definitely bring them. They don't have to wear them all the time, but they will make great pics. If it proves to be too hot during the day, they can wear them at night. It'll be fun for them.

You'll see people wearing them in the park, but yes it's hot. If I were to ever wear one of those robes it would only have to be around like late Dec-early Feb.

It's in the mid 80's during the day with humidity making it feel like the 90's. It's not quite Florida summer heat yet, but it's starting to feel like it. But like others said, if it's an option, bring the robes and maybe just throw on for pics.

They are FLEECE? I wouldn't bring them.

I would, however, consider packing extra cash to buy the official robes. It'll still be too hot to wear them all day, but they are amazing.

Fleece robes would have been awesome for some of our colder Halloweens, though...poor kid broiled in the Summer and froze in the Fall in the official ones!

You can bring them and just put them on for pics. Depending on how many days you go you could just keep and eye on the weather and take them in for one day.

We went two weeks ago and it hit low 90s while we toured. DS wore his robe at night and we got great pictures. I didn't bring mine because I thought it would be too hot and missed out on some great nighttime-low-crowd pics

I've seen hardcore people wear them regardless of how hot it is. I feel bad for the dude who has to wear a full on jacket and pants who stands in front of the Hogswarts Express. Bless their hearts. I wouldn't recommend it, as it is not only uncomfortable, but in extreme cases you can get sick, or pass out (but I'm sure they would have the sense to take the robes off before that happens).

That being said, if you want to go the comfort route and don't mind bringing something along with you. I suggest that if pictures are really important, that to wear them for certain photo ops and once you're done with photos to have a backpack that has a change of clothes for them to change into.

However, if you mean around right now, the evenings are a little cooler, so you could save the robes for the evenings if you choose to do those photo ops at night.
