Because Easter is early next year, our kids' Spring Break is early in March - the week of the 6h. Would it be too cold for swimming at VB this time of year?

Weather can be unpredictably cold and warm just like anywhere. We've had a wonderful time swimming there at Christmas time. No guarantees anywhere in Florida during spring break. I'd say odds are in your favor.

I agree that chances are good for swimming in March. An unexpected cold front could change those plans but I'd pack the suit!

For fun, I looked up the temp for 3/1/04. It was a high of 78 and a low of 66 so I bet folks were swimming that day!

Pam, I was looking for that wonderful site you many times post that shows the average temperature. Do you have that?

I use www.wunderground.com You punch in the city and then down on the right-side they should give you the option to select historical dates.

Hmmm.....78 is not that warm - not warm enough for swimming, anyway, IMO. Is the pool heated?

The pool is heated and you may even find some days in the mid 80's.

The ocean temps will be in the upper 60's (it's NOT heated ;) )

Enjoy!
