Do you think it is too chilly to camp at the Fort in early December? Can you still enjoy all the activities the Fort has to offer? I don't like to freeze

It will all depend on the year! We went the first week Dec '10 and nearly froze to death - high 20's at night and some days no higher than high 40's - 50's with wind. We had on coats, leggings, hats, gloves and were still cold trying to see the Osbourne Lights It was colder than NC where we live So, again, it can be warm, but never rule out that it can be cold. They covered their poinsettias and lots of other plants and still some froze - they had signs everywhere that said, "pardon our looks - Jack Frost visited us". There was ICE on the MK dock We stayed in our MH one day with the furnace running because I was tired of bundling up trying to enjoy myself. Don't want to discourage you, just make you aware to expect ANYTHING, not just the norm .
Last trip- this past Nov 28-Dec 8- it was almost 90 every day. We had maybe one or 2 days that was in the 70's. But, it's one of those things you never know about. I used to live there and have seen 30's in Dec. If I were taking small kids, NO WAY would I camp and risk it being cold. But camping is also not my 1st choice for a Disney vacation I need BED at night!
You can never predict the position of the jet stream that far in advance. Like previous posters have said, it could be 20's or 70's at night. We've seen both in the past two years.

Average high temp in Orlando for November 71 . Now that means on Saturday it could be 51 and on Sunday it could be 91 . There ya go ! 71 Average . It happens .
. If you don't like camping at Disney why are you posting on the Camping at Disney board? . Sorry but I find this a bit humorous: just as an fyi my camper has 2 queen size beds.
We started living part time in Florida in 1986. We lived in a park which had club house and heated pool. 86,87,88 swam through December. In 89 everything froze. No way of knowing what any weather could be you just take your chances. November through February in normaly cold to cool. January is Florida's winter month but 2011 and 2012 was very nice.
