too bad you can't get 'value' rates when booking during regular/value season?

I guess there isn't a way to get the 'value' season rates instead of the regular season. I'm checking in on regular season @ the Poly so therefore will be charged $259/nt as opposed to value season rate $232/nt for a couple of the days (AP discount) OR you can book the regular rates and book again for the value rates? too bad they just can't give you the value rate for ALL nights since you are in the vicinity anyway. hmmmm

I believe that if your stay starts in value season you can get the rates throughout. If your stay starts in regular season maybe you should make two reservations and just check out and back in on the day the rate changes.

would I need to pack up/return to lobby for recheckin? Could I just stay in the same room?

They can note on the ressies "continuing" reservation and then they try their darndest to keep you in the same room. We have done this many times, one trip we had three seperate ressies, and we have never had to change rooms.

We wind up making two ressies every year because we start in regular season, and go into value season. I make one ressie for the regular season, and then a continuing ressie for the value season. I stick with the same type of room, and have never had to switch rooms. All we have to do is go down to the front lobby on the day of next ressie, and they give us a different room key. You do have to put out 2 deposits for 2 ressies, but in the long run it saves you money.

It seems that the moderator has choosen to censor my entire post because I happen to mention a discount code. I think that is extememely unfair and does not encourage me to participate in the forum.

In my original post, I tried to explain that with the right discount codes, it *is* possible to stay during regular season at the discount rate. The code that I used saved me $600.00 off on top of the regular 10% Disney Club discount for a 1 week stay at the Beach Club. This year I have upgrade to a room with a view in regular season for almost the same price as last year's value season without discounts.

Discount codes are extremely important, which is why they take such strict measures to censor them here.
