Hi everyone!

I was wondering if there are many spices in the marinara sauce at Tony's Town Square. My family is thinking about going there for lunch, but my mother can't eat foods with many spices or a lot of garlic. Thanks!!

We had lunch there in Oct and dinner there last weekend, I am a huge garlic lover and there isnt a lot of garlic in the dishes at all....I had shrimp scampi and it didnt taste like garlic

When you make your ADRs I think you can make note that she needs light (as in small amounts) or no garlic/spices. As a diabetic, I sometimes need a few things changed for me and WDW has always been very accomodating with some advance warning I'm sure they could prepare something suitable.

Happy planning:wizard:

While I can honestly say I do enjoy Tony's, I will also say that the sauces are nothing spectacular in the spice department!

I am not sure if this really is your question, but we ate at Tony's Town Square last April. (Myself, my husband, and my three little girls). We found the food to be really gross. Each dish was just a bit yucky and unappetizing. None of us liked anything that we ordered, and we are all usually pretty easy to please. If you are worried about spicy, I ordered pasta with seafood in red sauce, and it was absolutely tasteless, so I would't say there was any garlic or spice to it. Just my opinion, but I would never eat there again or suggest it to anyone.

This year was are trying the Plaza for lunch based on recommendations I received from these boards. Hope this helps a little! :)

tony's in my favorite place to eat, the food is really good there. As far as having spicy marinara sauce I can't remember. They do have dining options which do not contain marinara sauce or garlic. You can also request they cut back on certain things and I am sure they will have no problem honoring your request. :thumbsup2

Thanks for replying everyone!! ;) I'm glad to hear that there isn't much garlic in the sauce. We will be sure to ask that we need no spices in her dish. It sounds like a great place to eat! :thumbsup2

If you haven't been there in some time you may be extremely disappointed with the food, also the restaurant itself is dirty.

That being said you could always pre-order a special meal.

Thanks for the advice! I hadn't thought about pre-ordering a meal before.
