Tony's Town Square Dining Package with VIP Parade Tickets

I have a 1:50pm lunch reservation at Tony's Town Square restaurant in mid-October for the sole purpose of acquiring the VIP parade tickets. How long would I have to wait for the parade to get good seats? I'd rather eat at the Crystal Palace at 2pm (have another reservation) and then see the parade but not sure I'll have enough time to eat there and get a decent seat for the parade.

Stick with Tony's if you're looking for good parade seats. With a 2 pm CP reservation there is no way you'd get a good viewing spot as the parade starts at 3.

Okay, now I have a 12:55pm Crystal Palace reservation and a 1:50pm Tony's Town Square VIP Parade package scheduled for Oct. 17th. I have a 5 yr old boy and 8 yr old girl. The touringplans crowd predictor says the Magic Kingdom will be 9 of out 10 crowded that day (Jewish holiday). Do I go with Tony's (not good food, overpriced, but good parade view) or Crystal palace (good food, fun characters, nice atmosphere)?

I personally find the food at CP to be pretty terrible (though I still eat there every time for the atmosphere) so I would pick the parade viewing since both restaurants offer pretty lousy food (just my opinion).
