We love Liberty Tree and eat there for dinner on all our "Magic Kingdom" days. I know they are completely different restaurants so I'm not expecting anyone to compare the two, but can I get some reviews of Tony's Town Square please? We just may try it next time instead of LTT based on what you all say. (How's THAT for pressure?!)
Thanks!

We tried Tony's once, about a year ago...we now go back to eating at LTT...especially if it is a lunch meal. LTT has the best lunch menu. tony's food was mediocre at best...definately not worth the money.

I've eaten at Tony's twice before. The first time I had a shrimp pasta dish, which was ok, but for the money I paid, I expected it to be a lot better. I didn't plan to go back, but on my last trip my sister wanted to try it so we did. They had a chicken parmagiana on the lunch menu that time which was excellent. I don't see it on the wdwig.com menus anymore, so if they've taken it off the menu I don't think I'll be back. There wasn't much else there that appealed to me.

One thing I will say though, I've never gotten a better view for Spectromagic than the night I ate there. We were seated on the balcony and had an unobstructed view as the parade went by. We couldn't have planned it better if we tried...

We loved Tony's for breakfast it was a must do each trip.Loved the two eggs custom they served and your server always brought you a basket of the best sticky buns.I miss that Tony's after they closed and reopened I've not enjoyed it like we did before.:wave2: :wizard:

I've eaten at Tony's for dinner twice and liked it both times. The only downside is that the type of food just begs a glass of wine to go with it :(.

Tony's is a nice change from LTT, unless LTT is a place you absolutely adore. We've had lunch and dinner at Tony's, and while we had outstanding service, the food is acceptable. It's harder to please the masses methinks with Italian food than the meat and potatoes dished at LTT. If we were doing Italian, we'd give MGM's Mama Melrose a try. I've read really good reviews of their food. You can't beat Tony's for a view of any parade, though. Unlike the majority who prefer Pooh at Crystal Palace, I liked Tony's character meal better. Give me family style over buffet any day!

This was once my favorite restraunt in the MK, but alas, it seems to have gone the way of Alfredo's replacing a menu that was once a mix of american italian foods like chicken parmigian and spaghetti and meatballs with a menu of pretentious, fancy gourmet italian foods that I can't even pronouce. :(

I'm seeing this more and more on the Disney menus. Some people are not adventerous and like their food plain, and boring. Give me plain chicken with some pasta sauce and cheese on it, and I'm happy. I have no problem with those who like fancy food, but I've had to scatch 3 restraunts I wanted to visit from my upcoming trip because there is simply nothing on the menus anymore that we will eat.

We tried Tony's about two years ago and it was the most disappointing meal I have ever had at Disney and that is saying alot! We went for breakfast. The sticky buns were burnt, the kids meals were so small even my 5 year old didn't have enough to eat, the service was extremely bad and the server was RUDE! When I said something to the hostess as we were leaving it was like no big deal. They must hear it all the time. Since this was our first meal at Disney for the trip, it didn't get us off on a good start to say the least. I definately won't be returning and I usually give any place a second chance.

Had a very nice lunch at Tonys in June. Don't go expecting the Italian to be as good as homemade. Its not. More like Olive Garden. But we had macaroni and pizzas and it was a meal the whole family enjoyed. Service was very good as well. It was a really pleasant meal and I would go there again.

We are another family that tried Tony's once, and won't do it again.

Walked up on Oct 3 at 11:25 to get a table; they weren't opened yet so they gave us a 12:10 PS. Rode around on the train until then... OH--also traded with the nice PS lady for her WEASEL Pin ( love those villains! )

Got a kid's pizza for our little ones to share (ONLY Disney meal they actually ate!!!! SAD BUT TRUE!!!). I got myself a kid's pizza (they had no trouble letting me chose that; bless them). Hubby ordered one of the gourmet pizzas--I believe the kid ones tasted better but he was actually happy (says a lot for Mr. Grumpy). We all had drinks.

Hubby also LOVED the tomato sauce thing that came with the bread--we asked for and received the recipe, but I've promptly lost it. I'd be VERY GRATEFUL if someone could send me a copy or post one here!!!!

Also had the butterscotch brulee (my first brulee ever and it was a real treat); came with a nice pastrie. Hubby had a coffee on top of it.

Meal was ONE OF OUR CHEAPEST ever at WDW--around $36 to feed four. NOT BAD AT ALL!!!!!

Waitress also sprinkled the little ones with pixie dust (only happened another time for us--when daughter got her haircut)--and yes, I promptly gathered uip quite a bit for our scrapbook!

I asked almost every CM there for any villain pins to trade, and got VERY lucky--a lovely CM had Si and Am and I was a very happy ferret indeed!

ALL IN ALL I hadn't originally planned on a meal at Tony's, but was pleasantly surprised with a magical meal. We'd definitely go back! Also scored an autograph from Lady and the Tramp (the waitress saw to that) and got a wonderful penny of the two in the machine at the front.

OH!!!

OH!!!

There's More!!!

Aladdin was all alone at the front of the restaurant so we all got pictures (but I forgot my autograph book). Really wanted to give him a quick peck on the cheek (such a cutie!), but was pretty sure Mr. FF would say something.

I heard a rumor that if you roll your meatball across your plate with your nose (like in Lady and the Tramp), you get a free dessert. None of us had the guts to ask the server about this, but next time we will!

Love atmosphere, love the setting, love the food, love the view, love TTS! We have never been disappointed. We will be there in Dec.! Can't wait!

My DH & I had dinner at Tony's Town Square in April 2002. Service was above average. Food Quality was about what you'd expect at the Olive Garden or any Italian restaurant chain. At $18.49, it was BY FAR the most expensive spaghetti & meatball I've ever ordered.

I feel the food quality at many Disney restaurants compensates for the over-inflated price. This is not the case at Tony's, but I wasn't horribly disappointed either. We had a table on the terrace with a view of Spectromagic. That was a nice touch.

If I went back I'd probably go at lunchtime and just order a pizza.
