We have never eaten at either of these places before and we do not know which one to pick! Both menus look great! Any thoughts? :)

Our family loves Crystal Palace. It is a tradition for us to go there and eat the first day/evening at the parks.

Since you've looked at the menus, you probably know Tony's is table service and Crystal Palace is buffet. How about Crystal Palace for breakfast and Tony's later the same day for lunch or dinner?

CP is the better restaurant. Tony's is pretty much chef boyar de

How old are your kids? Crystal Palace is good, but my sons would find the Pooh charachters too babyish. Never been to Tony's but would like to try....though now maybe not from previous post.

I agree with this. :thumbsup2 Crystal Palace and Tony's are two totally different places. CP is a character buffet, Tony's is a la carte Italian. Breakfast is definitely the better meal at CP, and Tony's only serves lunch and dinner. So go for both! :cool1: If not, decide if you want a buffet and characters or not.

I would do CP for a breakfast and Tonys for a dinner or lunch depending what you are looking for.

I would go with CP for breakfast and skip Tony's. If you want Italian food there are better italian restaurants on-site like Tutto Italian, Via Napoli, Mama Melrose, and the italian restaurant at the Swan/Dolphin Hotel (I am blanking on the name). If you want to have a sit down dinner on your day to Magic Kindgom I would suggest to eat dinner at one of the monerail resorts (much better food and short travel time). I would suggest Ohana at the Polynesian or California Grill at the Contemporary (both are hard to get reservations) ; however, there are many others. I hope you have a wonderful vacation.

The food at Crystal Palace is good, and it's all you care to eat including desserts. You'll get character visits as well. Very nice/fun environment.

I would choose CP but DP would choose Tony's. we went to both for the first time this last trip... Maybe the character meal would make or break the decision?

I was disappointed with the food quality at Tony's.

I was impressed with the food quality at CP (breakfast.) It does always feel like the busiest buffet though. If you're in any kind of hurry, don't go there.

I'm the oddball and would say Tony's:goodvibes We sat outside and watched the electrical parade right from our table, my ds loved it.

As far as food goes, Tony's was one of two places my kids really liked the food (the other Y&Y). I prefer sit down to buffet, and my kids are not into the CP characters; however if you have a crowd that likes hundred acre wood then you may want to take advantage of character interaction.

Bottom line I thought the food at Tony's was great, and we had great service, the CM's were very attentive (I had the veggie lasagne).

Have fun!:goodvibes

I actually enjoy the food at both restaurants. Tony's is nice and intimate and CP is a lot of fun, especially if you're wanting to meet characters. These are my 2 favorite TS in MK.

I'm with kellzkidz on this one. Last trip we did CP for lunch, not impressed with the food. DS isn't really into Pooh characters as he was 11. We did go to Tony's for dinner one night as we didn't have a TS reservation and there was only a 15 minute wait for a table-we loved it. We sat outside and enjoyed "people watching" from our table. The service was great and we enjoyed the food. We are going back this year for Thanksgiving and it's where my family wants to eat turkey dinner (minus the turkey) as we aren't big turkey eaters. BUT, that being said, you have to make the decision that 's right for your family. I have read horrible reviews about places that we loved. Good Luck!

Tony's is pretty disappointing, but I think every couple should have spaghetti and meatball there at least once :goodvibes

I really like both, but the fact that Eeyore is at CP - well, he gives CP a slight advantage!

we are doing CP this trip - and I'm excited! DD is excited to see Piglet...so I hope she is there!!!!

My inlaws were with us today and the only place they asked us not to book for Nov was Tony's. We had terrible service, not one person liked their meal and we waited over an hr to be seated.

CP hands down.

To say Tony's is like chef boyardee is completely inaccurate, as I think chef boyardee is FAR better than Tony's!!!!!!! I'd take chef boyardee's ravioli over tony's food any day!! Tony's was by far the worst meal we had in our entire 10 day trip. Absolutely disgusting. I think their tomato sauce is gross, thats why neither of us could eat our food probably. My chicken parm was inedible, but my sons spaghetti & meatballs was far worse. I took a bite of his meatball and had to spit it out into a napkin...yes, it was that gross. And believe it or not, we're not picky people. The service was horrible as well. I should have listened to the reviews and booked elsewhere! Ugh! Stupid me.

Honestly, go to Crystal Palace. Their food is delish. :thumbsup2
