Tony's - MK Parade View w/o Pkg?

I booked a 2:30 reservation at Tony's Town Square for a day in late Jan.
I was under the impression I could request a porch table upon arrival for our ADR, so we could enjoy the parade while eating lunch.
Is this a completely naive newbie idea?
I just noticed they actually sell a parade package (appears sold out for my date). So, that made me think the idea was not going to happen. Since that was my sole reason for booking, I guess I should cancel?

It is pretty naive.

1. It is a request, and it may not be met.

2. View from Tony's is not good. The package does not have people watching from Tny's, for a reason.

You can request a table outside, but it is only a Request and most likely there won't be any available tables. By 2:30 the tables will be filled with already seated parties who will not be leaving until after the parade. Also it is not the best view because it will be blocked by those standing at the curb so you'll be able to see the upper parts of the floats, but very little of the street level performers.

Not naive at all. We have done this three times. It's true that the viewing from inside Tony's and even from the porch isn't the greatest, but I am not one of those people who has to be front row at a parade. I can see well enough from Tony's and it's nice being back, out of the way of crowds.

Where does the package diners view from?

They have a viewing area near the flagpole with unobstructed view.
