Tony's During Festival Of Fantasy Parade

With Disney offering a Festival Of Fantasy Parade Dining Package which include VIP viewing of the parade can you still book a regular dining reservation for Tony's during the parade time and ask to sit outside on the front porch?

The VIP viewing is near the flag pole, not the patio for Tony's. So the package will not have an effect on this request.

You can always ask. If they have space for you, they will usually try to accommodate. But, LOTS of people will be making that same request, so there is no way to even guess how likely they will accommodate you.

If the table they assign you is not on the patio, you can either accept it, or decline... and then pay the no show fee.

However, if you are eating at Tony's, and seeing the parade with no crowd fuss is a priority, I would just get the package. Trying to get patio seating for dinner may work, or it may result in you missing the parade completely.

The package includes appetizer and dessert. Depending on what you order, you can come out "ahead" with the package vs. paying the menu prices.

I would maybe book the ADR slightly earlier. With the parade starting at 2:00 now, it'll end around 2:45 down there (if I remember right, double check the timing.) We have never gotten seated right away at Tony's. So if you are hoping to see a bit of the parade on the way out you could be out of luck. Even getting seated right away you would need to be served and eat pretty quickly.

What time will the parade be at the Tony's special Festival viewing area if you buy the package? I have a reservation for 12:15 and was hoping we could show up a few minutes late so that we don't have a bunch of time to kill before going to the viewing spot.
For that matter - how long does a meal at Tony's for lunch take?
