So, how is Tony´s in the MK? Never been there before and it was the only TS I could get for the MK (except Crystal Palace which I already had).

Hi there!
I've eaten at Tony's a few times. The service is usually very good and the food is not too bad either.

I am a pretty simple eater so I have gotten the Speghetti and Meatball dinner in past times. However, the sauce used for this dish is sponsered by Butoni and it is pretty horrible so I wouldn't recommend it. I don't mean to knock Butoni in any way but the sauce is way to thick and sweet for my tastes. On the other hand, my hubby had gotten other various dishes from Tony's and they were all good.

We always seem to like Tony's. I have heard some pretty bad reviews on the DISboards, but we always enjoy it. We have had 3 good experiences there.

I have read great reviews of lunch and the menu looks good so we are going to try it next month. The dinner menu looks just eh to me

We have a dinner ADR. I am REALLY hoping to get a 1900 Park Fare dinner ADR instead for that night. Í´ve planned an event with Gifts of a Lifetime as a surprise for my family that day and would love to end the day somewhere special. Tony´s doesn´t seem to be all that ;)

We've been for lunch and dinner and enjoyed them both. Dinner was in 06 and dh had a yummy steak and I had something pasta and I just remember how much we enjoyed it. I ate lunch there last year and it was delicious as well.

It gets mixed reviews but we were there on Father's day last year with a party of 8 and we all loved it!

We also liked it and have eaten there twice.

It is nice, but not super fancy. I prefer to be in the front room to the back dining area. The back area seems too noisy and not as pleasant (but then again, we haven't eaten in that section, just walked through it).

Last year, we were there for my Birthday! YAY! They did the table up all really nice with fancy decorations and glittery Mickey Mouse confetti. Then, the server made our entire section sing me happy birthday and I got a fancy dessert with a candle stuck in it.

I've had a few dishes there, too. (DH and I order two different entrees and then we share). I liked the spaghetti just fine. Last year I had the baked ziti and was surprised on how much I liked it.

If you can't get in to where you'd rather be, I think you'll do just fine at Tony's.

I wish it got better reviews - nothing I've heard says it's worth it - think I'll skip based on everything I've read here and other places.

We ate there 9-15 and really enjoyed it. Our server was very nice and all of our food was good. The desserts were excellent:thumbsup2 . The only complaint I had was that we were seated in the front part and it was cold. The waitress gave my youngest daughter a table cloth to wrap up in because she was freezing.

We have been to Tony's four times (2002, twice in 2007 & 2008!) We have a trip planned for October 2009 and DH requested we eat @Tony's because its our tradition!
We have always found the food, atmosphere, service good-great. The portions are large enough that DH and I have each ordered a salad and then shared an entrée (they bring bread and oil to dip it in before your meal.) DS was disappointed to not see Fettuccine Alfredo on the children's menu, when we mention this to our server he said it wouldn't be a problem! If you have little ones (or even if you don't) this is the restaurant that Lady & The Tramp shared their infamous plate of spaghetti (movie plays in the lobby while you wait to be seated!) Ask your server if Lady & The Tramp are there when you are...you might be lucky enough to get their autographs (paw prints!)

Awww, how cute!

DW and I always make ADRS for Tonys. IT is a must for us we love the food and the service is # 1.We will be at WDW in Jan. 09 and we have our ADR for lunch :cheer2:

We ate here for the first time in August.

Server was nice, and food came out quickly. But we weren't happy with the food quality for the price. Lots of $$$$$!

DH and I shared an antipasto which I think was about $20, and it was skimpy.

Both kids ordered the spag. and meatballs or sausage. They both ate less than half. DH got the steak and was unimpressed. My dish was fine - pork roast and polenta.

Desserts were an improvement. :) DD loved her tirimisu and I liked my Lemon-walnut cake. DH said his ice cream had some freezer burn. For what we paid - should not have freezer burn.

So, glad we tried it, but won't be back any time soon.

We ate there a week or so ago because it was the only last minute ADR we could get (same day). I neither loved nor hated it...only big negative was that I felt it was overpriced. But I did enjoy my shrimp scampi dinner, which had lots of veggies (sun dried tomatoes...mmmmmm!) which I actually liked better than the shrimp that was in it too. Hubby said the sauce on his pasta was just okay. We both really liked the calamari appetizer, and the ice cream was okay for dessert but I liked hubby's cheesecake better. Service was adequate...nothing to write home about, but neither was it bad.

Sounds like we´ll keep our ADR there if we don´t get anything better.

We had dinner at Tony's last year and liked it. I, too, saw the mixed reviews but we wanted a place to eat close to the parade route. My husband had the steak and liked it. I had a chicken dish and thought it was good. I made an ADR again for January 2009.

we wanted a place to eat close to the parade route.
I forgot to mention that is one of the reasons we like Tony's so much...we try to schedule our ADR so that when we are done eating we can walk out to the porch and watch Spectro Magic parade!
