For the tea, I just gave them an estimate of how many will attend. I had to call group dining since I am having 20 girls there. I was going to send out an invitation to the women about the tea party and have them RSVP so that I could get an idea of who would be going but it kind of went around by word of mouth and I talked to all the women and figured out who was going to attend. I was told that I don't have to tell Disney that they will add it up that day.

Some Random Updates​

I have some pictures of things for the wedding that I thought I would share. Some items have been purchased and some have been made!

Up First we have some random purchases.
My FMIL bought me these makeup bags on her recent vacation. It was so sweet of her!

My Matron of Honor Gifts

My cousin/matron of honor loves cherries. When I went to Disney this past June I saw this adorable purse and wallet so I had to scoop it up for her. I also wanted to get her some piece of jewelry to wear with her gown so I found this silver locket at the World of Disney store in DTD.

Feeling chilly...........

Since my wedding is in February and I knew it would be cold at the Dessert Party I bought a Pashmina to wear. This is a bad picture since its laying on a white sheet but I am sure you can make it out...LOL

A little something for the DF............:
My DF is a HUGEEEEEEEE Batman fan so since everything in this wedding is all about me I thought I would bring in a little of his personality so I bought him these Batman cufflinks. He loves them.

In this same theme, for our New Jersey reception, I got these garters.

I knew my DF would keep this garter as opposed to my Donald Disney one..lol.

I got this really cute bag from Ebay. I loved it when I saw it and right now I am storing my wedding planner and documents in it.

Now for the creative side.................................:

I played around with making the program for the ceremony. I stress out making things making sure they don't look cheesy. If there was some kind of website that made invitations and programs in small quantities instead of like 100 at a time, I would just have someone else do them...lol.

So, that being said, here is my attempt at a program. The inside pages are made with vellum and the outside is a double sided card stock. One side is the dark pink and the inside is the light pink. I used a silver stamp from Martha Stewart crafts to make the silver swirlies and the "P" monogram.

I may play around with something else but I kind of like them. I didn't want the stamp to be perfect. I kind of wanted it to look worn out to fit with my shabby chic theme. I did want them to be simple yet elegant in a way.

Ok now with the favors. As I have stated before I was going to have my DF draw a picture of us in cartoon form, with our wedding clothes on and the mickey bride/groom ears. Well he is a bit of a slacker with this so I don't have the mugs done yet...lol. but while I was in Disney for my planning session I did get coffee and cocoa from DTD.

Ok so I did a mock up of what the favors will be like. I used a mug in my house for illustration purposes only. PLEASE DO NOT THINK I AM GIVING PEOPLE THESE UGLY MUGS....LOL. This is basically to give you an idea until I get my real mugs....whenever that may be...lol.

Ok so I am getting white boxes and filling them with tissue paper. I also bought some white paper roses and pink mini flowers to put on the boxes along with ribbon and little silver thank you charms. I bought pink ribbon and silver ribbon. I will be alternating the boxes with the pink and silver ribbon. This will be my way of telling which box has coffee and which has cocoa. I want to make sure each couple gets one coffee and one cocoa. So here are the favor pictures.

and now this is my mock up. Remember the ugly green mug is NOT the favor mug...LOL.

I think they will be pretty cool when I get the real mugs. I also want to get that shredded paper to put in the boxes instead of tissue paper but thats all I had at the time.

Well I guess thats all the updates for now! I feel like I am running out of wedding stuff to do...lmao. I am just well ahead for now so I guess I can take a rest. If I can actually let myself do that!

OMG! My fiance is batman obsessed too!! He wants to name our first son Bruce Wayne lol .. the prices we pay lol.. Can you tell me where you found the cufflinks and garter?

6 More Months and My Magic Kingdom Photo Shoot Bouquet

So I am now officially 6 months away from my wedding day!!! Well August 2nd will be 6 months but that is only 2 hours away so I am close.

It is exciting but it seems so far away and its NOT going by fast. At least not yet. I hope this changes.

Anyway, on my floral BEO I had a $75.00 charge to refresh my bouquet for the MK photos and a new bout. for Bobby that would be 20.00. I didn't want to pay 95.00 for a refreshed bouquet when I could use that money for something else and I knew I could make one, so I did and I thought I would share pictures.


Basically I made a similar bouquet to my real one that I will have at the wedding. I made it much smaller and I changed the ribbon around a bit but it is still similar. I used to be a florist so it wasn't that much of a challenge for me. This bouquet only cost me 20.00 to make which is better than 75.00!

I am going to use it for the MK photos but I am also going to use it for my at home reception to toss.

I think it works for its purpose. Rose will be taking away my bouquet later in the wedding day to deliver to keepsake floral so I needed something for the MK photos.

These are gorgeous! I'm looking for someone to do my flowers. I know you have a lot to do, but if I paid you will you do one for me for my Feb wedding as well? I know it's a lot to ask and you can totally say no!

So I just booked Carolyn Allens on Monday. I called up and spoke with a very nice gentlemen, can't recall his name but he was very nice. So I guess you can book them a month out with no problems. They did have another steaming scheduled that day at 9am so they have to come to my room at 7am. WOW! My dress is silk taffeta which needs to be pressed and not steamed. Apparently I have a high maintenance dress. Who knew.

My bridal shower is next Saturday, January 10th. I can't wait. It should be fun. I will be sure to have pics to post.

My bachlorette party is set for January 17th. We are going to Atlantic City to the Borgata. My favorite casino. I will take pics and post that for you all as well.

I finished my programs. They came out great. I changed the paper on them to do a sort of green floral type of thing. Here are the pictures. I love the basket. I actually added crystals to the bows by using antique earrings that my grandmother passed down to me. I wanted to add a little crystal sparkle to match up with the crystals I have on my head table. Gotta love bling!

I can't believe I am down to 33 days. It really went by fast!
