I've read so much about Tonga Toast or Macadamia-Pineapple Pancakes that I made reservation for myself and my son on our non-park day.

However my son doesn't like breakfast food.

1. Will it be okay if I order either just Tonga Toast or Macadamia-Pineapple Pancakes to share with him and maybe order OJ for him and coffee for me?

2. Which do you guys like better? Tonga Toast or Macadamia-Pineapple Pancake?

3. Is pancake on the Big Kahuna Breakfast same as Macadamia-pineapple pancakes that's on the menu?

4. Is there non-breakfast food that my son can order?

Thank you

1. That's fine.

2. We've had both, but prefer the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes. We felt the Tonga Toast was extremely sweet so we would order it for the table for everyone to share.

3. Not quite. The Macadamia Nut Pineapple Pancake has chopped up macadamia nuts in the batter. The pancake on the Big Kahuna is a plain pancake.

4. There's a fruit plate on the menu. There's also a Steak and Eggs entree, but he could order just the Steak or you could eat the eggs.

Neither. =) I'm a bigger fan of the Samoan (poached eggs on pulled pork hash, topped with hollandaise sauce and arugula).

Tonga toast!
It's definately big enough to share.

I've never tried the Samoan. It sounds so good!

We love it all. We usually all order our own mean and get a Tonga Toast to share. It is delicious but it is sweet. Our kids love the Macadamia-Pineapple Pancakes better. I do love the Samoan. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Like everyone is saying the Tonga toast is incredibly sweet but I think the strawberry compote that they give u is what makes the Tonga toast so sweet lol...word to the wise go easy on the strawberry stuff lol...first time I got it I just poured it on...it was still good but very very sweet lol. Next time I think I will just eat it with either regular syrup or just dip the Tonga toast in the strawberry stuff.

I loved the tonga toast. its so good. I didnt like the strawberry sauce, i just pushed that aside and ate it plain. Much better that way. Sure tonga toast is a bit sweet but its really good! :goodvibes I havent tried the macadamia pancakes yet but i will on my next trip. It sounds delish.

I've never had the Tonga toast but I LOVED the macadamia pineapple pancakes and could only eat half of them myself - I took the rest for breakfast in my room the next morning. My daughter liked them but had ordered her own breakfast, so we didn't share.

Macadamia pineapple pancakes. Probably the only food I crave between Disney trips. Just love them.
