I was looking at the Ohana breakfast and our family doesn't really eat eggs. Do they have different things like waffles and Tonga Toast? Is the food good?

They don't have Tonga Toast. I understand you might be able to order it for a surcharge, and not all you can eat either.

The breakfast at Ohana consists of: fruit, breakfast breads, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, potatoes, and mickey waffles - is served family style and is all you can eat. As TDC Nala stated, some DISers have reported being able to order tonga toast for a surcharge.

Just Curious - if the menu at Ohana is not to your liking, why are your eating there? :confused3

If you would like Tonga Toast and/or waffles you should be dining at the Kona Cafe

I only said that we don't like eggs. I was just inquiring as to what else they have and if it had a couple of the other things we like.

Just curious- Why did you write on my thread Negative Nelly?:rotfl2:

You can also get the Tonga toast at CAptain Cooks in Poly. for a counter service. I plan on going there several times in a few weeks. :hippie::cool1:

Just to clarify, the website does not say waffles but they do indeed serve them? Also, is Mickey still at this breakfast?

I have to be honest: I thought the food at our character breakfast in 'Ohana a few years back was some of the worst we ever had at Disneyworld. Eggs were cold, bacon and sausage weren't good, the waffles were stale. Our DD enjoyed the characters, but we thought the food was horrendous.

Seriously, if you're going to the character breakfast, don't go with the expectation of great breakfast food and you can avoid disappointment. If you want Tonga Toast, I really would go on over to Kona Cafe. That, and just about everything else, is really good there, IMO. No characters there, but then we've kind of had our fill of character meals at this point.

Can't wait for Tonga Toast at Capt Cooks!!! I think that Tonga Toast is my favorite thing on Disney Property!!!

I have the exact opposite opinion. We have had bkfst here twice. We really liked the food. I love the family style and the juice is fantastic. It is a must do IMO.
